Roman Catholicism is not about bringing people to Jesus. It is a false religion, and those who follow it are being deceived. The Catholic Church was founded during the reign of Constantine, circa 312 AD. At first its purpose was to combine pagan tradition with religion, then it evolved into the sanctioned church of Rome. The result? Catholic teachings are unbiblical and meant to keep the people in line without allowing them to actually learn anything about God. There are no Bible studies in the Catholic Church, just meaningless rituals like repetitious prayer, something Jesus warned us not to do. Instead of praying to our Lord Jesus, they pray to Mary. The worship of Mary is not biblical but just an idea some pope came up with. They removed the 2nd Commandment because it forbids idol worship and forbids the erection of statues in the likeness of Jesus or Mary or anything that would become an object of worship. They teach that good works are required to earn salvation. The Bible says salvation comes by the grace of God through faith alone, Ephesians 2:8. You won't reach heaven just because you think you're such a good person. And worst of all, they have forbidden the priests to marry, and they put limitations on eating certain foods. These doctrines are ungodly, and the proof can be found in 1 Timothy 4:1-3. Here, God warns us against these evil men who would command the people to observe ideas that the Bible refers to as, "doctrines of demons." So if you're Catholic and think you're a born-again Christian, guess what, you're not. You won't find salvation in a false, man-made religion. In John 14:6, Jesus said,"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but through me."

As ANOTHER Catholic pope compromises and falls into apostasy, this is a good reminder that the Roman Catholic church is not the true church. Professing Roman Catholics consider 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
