@cardiffcouncil Looking at rules for other councils in Wales they will accept recyclable wrapping paper if sellotape removed and it passes the scrunch test. Why is Cardiff an outlier in Wales on this issue?

Not all wrapping paper can be recycled! ✅ Brown paper wrapping – Recycle in your blue sack ❌ Printed or coloured wrapping – Black wheelie bin or seagull sack. ➡️ We’ll collect one extra black bag of wrapping paper only with your black bin/seagull sack.

Just a reminder the “pram” space on buses didn’t exist until wheelchair users campaigned and protested for a space on public transport. So next time you go off at a wheelchair user for using the WHEELCHAIR space, remember it’s only even there because we fought for it.

Today’s ‘first world problem’… I don’t have a plug that will allow the hoover to reach from one end of the room to the other. I’ve got to change plugs half way through. Very inconvenient 🙄
