@GlennonDoyle Exactly. If we are stuck with funding higher Ed by loans, those loans should be zero interest. You pay it back, you’ve bought your education. With interest-bearing loans, the lenders have bought you. ☹️

word nerd here: 1 idea is not calling it loan forgiveness, which implies the borrower made a mistake. the mistake is holding education for ransom. it's the govt and lenders who should ask forgiveness. we could call what's happening now loan rectification maybe. if not no worries
