The Philippines achieved a major milestone in its vaccination program on Thursday, October 28, with the arrival of the 100 millionth dose of COVID-19 vaccines, bringing the country closer to its goal of achieving herd immunity within this year.

Brunei gov’t donates 2K doses of AstraZeneca vaccines to PH Some 2,000 doses of AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines donated by the Brunei government to the Philippines arrived at the NAIA Terminal 1 at around 2:00 p.m. today.

This latest shipment brings to 71,324,590 the total number of COVID-19 vaccines delivered to the country. As of September 29, the government has administered 45.2 million COVID-19 vaccine doses nationwide.
