Physicians are NOT entities of the state. In fact the Declaration of Geneva, ratified in 1948 following the WWII atrocities, and the International Code of Medical Ethics both demand that physicians must practice their profession with conscience. The article below is yet another example of state-funded propaganda. It relies on biased polling to manufacture consent for even more coercive policies that violate the core principles of medical ethics. These measures would push Canada further out of step with international norms and accelerate the exodus of physicians already underway. What legacy media consistently fail to tell Canadians is this: euthanasia remained a criminal offence in the Criminal Code until 2016. Since then, many Ontario physicians have already been forced out of the province, or out of hospitals and palliative care settings, because they refused to participate in euthanasia against their conscience. This forced exodus has only deepened our existing healthcare crisis. As we witnessed during the covid era, protecting physicians’ freedom of conscience is crucial to safeguarding medical ethics, patient autonomy, and fundamental human rights. Physicians are NOT entities of the state.

Humanity prevails. Despite govts' efforts to sow division and hate during the covid era, the human spirit found unity across faiths. I've been blessed with strong friendships that endured the covid madness and those that were forged during that surreal time in our lives. One of my close friend's husband is a pastor at a church in the GTA and he was a strong voice in his community against govts' harmful covid measures. Yesterday, I was invited to their Easter service where he gave a moving sermon on sin and reconciliation, drawing upon the covid era. I'm not Christian, but the message of hope on Easter resonates with all faiths. Easter reminds us that hope should never be lost for as dark as the path may seem, light always lies ahead. Wishing all celebrating a blessed Easter. Enjoy the lovely sunshine with your loved ones☀️

I haven’t had any viral colds for nearly 4yrs. Aside from the usual exercise/sleep, the only major change I’ve made is to my diet: I cut out almost all processed sugars/foods and only prepare balanced meals with fresh whole food ingredients. Simultaneously, big pharma quietly funded new “non-profits” and lobbied aggressively to rewrite clinical guidelines: reclassifying obesity from a modifiable risk factor into a “chronic disease.” This created an enormously profitable new pharmaceutical market of GLP-1 receptor agonists to manage this new “chronic disease” despite the concerning lack of long-term safety and efficacy data. New data released this week shows that Ozempic has quickly become Canada’s single largest publicly-funded drug cost driver: consuming $807 million of our country’s total $20.1 billion publicly spent on prescription drugs across Canada. The same legacy media and lobbyists who spent years claiming obesity isn’t unhealthy are now declaring GLP-1-induced “skinny” equals “healthy.”
