@cs_mcgowan while zach isn't quite as wacky as the stuff that was the most meaningful to me at the height of the blog era, it is worth noting he never stopped putting his personality in his work. his stuff is substantially weirder than a lot of the modern blog boys that copy him.

tbh, probably a net win for NBA fans since zach's phenomenal work won't get lost in a completely unorganized unsearchable mess like it does on the ESPN site. zach's the best. dearly hope he gets some fun time off with his fam & can return when inspiration hits.

on the other end, derozan is a clear talent upgrade for the kings and i trust mike brown to solve it... but definitely a weird fit. defensively they're going to be a skosh worse, and while they can stagger their top 3, they're clearly closing with all three, right?

harrison barnes is no all-star but he's a good lunchpail guy that will be a great bridge to the next era. hyped the spurs got him, even moreso that they managed to get him + a small draft nugget.
