It’s the season for pothole repair and it was great to join my fellow cabinet member, Neil Boyce in Castor to see the Dragon Patcher in action.

After I put out my video yesterday, this is what I saw whist scrolling on my newsfeed. Read the comment below, in the photo. “Never a mass shooter around when you want one.” This photo is of Eid in the Park yesterday, in my city. As the Leader of this city I am outraged. This is an example of what Muslim communities will now have to face, day in, day out because of comments made by Conservative politicians like @NJ_Timothy & @KemiBadenoch When people in responsible positions make hateful statements against a faith group, it normalises such behaviour in wider society. The trickle down effect can be seen below. The Tories should be ashamed of themselves and I have reported the below person to the constabulary.

A real shame that the judges couldn't see the work being done by so many in Peterborough to improve what is going on in the city - and bring amazing and fantastic events and festivals here. It's vital that the work continues!

Spot on from our MP. This hate must be called out. The dehumanising of Muslims have gone on for far too long and the Conservative Party must withdraw the whip from this MP.

This is serious. We will be taking necessary steps to offer reasonable reassurance to our residents.

🌹 Every councillor who voted in favour of tonight’s budget should look back and feel proud of supporting honesty and transparency. This is how the future of Peterborough and its council should look. One of stability and strong foundations. The Tories bruised this city- we are healing it. @docshab, Cllr. Shabina Qayyum, is it true that the Peterborough Hindu Temple will be converted into a mosque? We are not against the mosque, but there are already many mosques in the area, and there will be no Hindu temple left. Is that fair to the Hindu Community of Peterborough? @SteveReedMP

@PaulStainton @borofergie I think we need an air of calm. We put forward a view and the Govt has come back and said elections going ahead. I am still here working for the people of Peterborough. I understand money has to found, but some councils are charging extreme fees for parking a car. Ferry meadows now has a parking meter, shameful exploitation of you own citizens.

Today in Bradford I paid £1.50 to park in the city centre multi storey. That’s the charge for all day on a weekend. To park all day in @Queensgate_PB would be £17, in the Car Haven over 3 hours is £12. @PaulStainton @PeterboroughCC @docshab
