Was awesome to get a chance to speak to @IUMediaSchool students today in both @TriciaWhitaker and @MikeWellsNFL classes today. Not surprising, but the students came prepared, didn’t look at their phones and you can tell how motivated and locked in they are. What @CrimsonCast has built in Bloomington is absolutely insane. To be able to get professors of the caliber of Tricia and Mike is really incredible. Such a huge advantage for these students as they enter the industry.

🥹 The end of a semester with my students always makes me a combination of happy and sad ❤️ This was our last week of class and I could not be more proud of their progress. Being new to the sportscasting industry at a young age in college, can be so scary. Learning to accept constructive criticism can be new and unfamiliar. Learning that it’s okay to make mistakes can be foreign. But my goodness did they conquer their fears this semester. The elimination of self-doubt, the increase in confidence and the determination to improve was so apparent with this group. Way to go class ❤️ A huge shout out to my rockstar guest speakers this semester… @RoFlo @LaurenShehadi @alex_faust @TheAndyKatz … you were so selfless to take some time to chat with them! Immensely proud of what the @IUMediaSchool is doing ❤️

I hope every fan base has a Galen Clavio in it. Someone who has such unyielding love & support for the institution and its programs, and also the ability to provide the kind clear-eyed historical analysis that helps us contextualize each moment. What a treasure for IU fans.
