META EMPLOYEE TAKES TO REDDIT TO EXPLAIN ZERO OF THOSE LAID OFF WERE VISA WORKERS A Meta employee posted on Reddit that they barely survived yesterday's layoffs. Their direct manager had 40-50 reports across two combined teams. Both managers are American citizens. About 40% of the team was on visa. Yesterday they lost about 15 people combined from both teams. Guess how many of those 15 were on visa vs American? 0 on visa. All 15 were American citizens and green card holders. Here is the reality: H-1B workers are captive. Their visa is tied to the employer. They can't job hop, can't negotiate, can't push back. Deportation is the alternative. From a cold management perspective, they are the "safer" employees to keep. Americans have leverage. They can quit, sue, leave for competitors. That makes them the first to go. There is no law requiring companies to retain Americans first during layoffs. None. That is the loophole. No company will ever publish visa status breakdowns of their layoff lists. So this will stay in anecdote territory forever. By design.

There were various ways President Trump could have approached the Anti-Weaponization Fund. He could have taken the money he was owed and distributed it however he saw fit. He could have kept it for himself. He could have set up a private trust. He could have pursued any number of less transparent arrangements. But instead, he chose a process where the money would be distributed to victims of government weaponization through a formal and transparent system. There was never going to be a scenario with no money at all, because President Trump is owed compensation for the documented abuses he suffered, including at the hands of the IRS. So out of the many available options, he chose the most proper and generous option possible, and of course the haters still cannot help themselves from trying to destroy it all anyway. It is the same story we have watched play out for the past decade, and nothing has changed.

I feel it is important to speak out against the travesty we are seeing happen in Colorado. The Democrats have once again shown that if you do not stay within their party line, they will try to destroy you. Governor Jared Polis commuted 9 sentences and pardoned 35 people. But the outrage from Colorado Democrats is aimed at Governor Polis and me. They are attacking the governor for showing mercy, and they have put a bullseye on a 70-year-old, nonviolent, first-time offender. Doesn’t that make you wonder why? It should be obvious to Democrats and Republicans alike that they have something to hide. It is so obvious that they are willing to continue destroying people’s lives to cover it up. The real victims are the people of Colorado. The real victims are every voter who deserves honest, fair and transparent elections. I thank Governor Polis for being willing to stand up in the middle of this persecution and do what he believed was right. I have always said I will never back down, I will never give up, and I will never give in. I will always stand for truth, transparency, and fairness in our elections. No matter how hard people like Jenna Griswold and Phil Weiser try to cover up what was done to the people of Colorado, I will keep speaking the truth. The censure of Governor Polis shows just how radical the left has truly become. And if they are this afraid of mercy being shown to one whistleblower, the public should ask what they are still trying so hard to hide.

The details emerging from the Henry Nowak case are genuinely harrowing. Jurors heard transcripts in court in which Henry Nowak can allegedly be heard saying: “I am dying.” According to the prosecution, Vickrum Digwa replied: “You’re not dying bro.” The prosecution said that around 10 minutes later, Henry told Digwa: “You stabbed me.” Digwa allegedly responded: “No I didn’t,” before saying: “You started recording me, thinking you’re sick.” The court was then shown an image taken from a video Digwa recorded of Henry lying on the ground. The prosecution asked him directly: “He’s lying on the floor saying he was dying and you made a video of his face, why?” Digwa replied: “I don’t know why.” Prosecutors also told the jury that when police arrived at the scene, Digwa repeatedly claimed Henry was “pretending.” Before the jury, Digwa said: “I thought that he was pretending to be in a worse condition than he was.” Just imagine those final moments. A young man allegedly saying “I am dying” while lying wounded on the ground… and being accused of pretending. It is difficult to read details like these and not feel completely heartbroken for Henry Nowak and his family. People across the country are following this case because they cannot comprehend the sheer horror of what the court is hearing.
