Obviously Israel being in the news leads to this stuff happening a bit more frequently but there’s no version of reality where Jews don’t get harassed. We could leave Israel, give every inch of land to Palestinians, and there would still be hundreds of millions of antisemites

@pbnbam @dodgersjordan And I can’t even rule out the possibility that Israel did it on purpose to punish Iran’s remaining Jews for remaining loyal to their homeland and not supporting Israel, let alone moving there. Israel should at least take enough care to avoid those ~100 buildings!

@pbnbam @dodgersjordan There are only about 100 synagogues even left in Iran and Israel can be very precise when it wants to be. Indiscriminate bombing is the least nefarious explanation, which makes Israel denying the practice simply not credible

@dodgersjordan I don’t think AOC runs. She’s a savvy enough politician to know it’s not the right time yet. Pritzker keeps looking like a perfect compromise because he has that Obama/Trump-like quality of being someone who can be whatever you want to believe he is

Democrats typically say they support Israel, just not Netanyahu. When Netanyahu is gone the same Democrats will not change their anti-Israel positions one bit. Netanyahu you’ll see was an excuse.
