Three Palestinian women from the Masalmeh family were killed in an Iranian missile attack last night. We send their family our heartfelt condolences. This is a tragic reminder that Iran’s missiles do not distinguish between Jew, Muslim or Christian—they aim to kill us all.

AIPAC practices some of the more regressive and restrictive purity politics at the same time it denounces the left for its purity politics. But AIPAC’s version is arguably more damaging to pro-Israelism than the left’s.

I just got off the phone with my family in the West Bank to check on them following the killing of four Palestinian women by an Iranian missile that struck the town of Bayt Awa. The sounds of explosions were extremely loud in the background following another round of Iranian missile launches toward Israel. Pray for the safety of Palestinian and Israeli civilians. The situation is rapidly escalating as Iran intensifies its missile attacks, including the use of cluster munitions.

If you are rightfully condemning Joe Kent’s antisemitic record but stopping short of condemning the man who put him in that position of power to begin with—and what that says about *his* tolerance for antisemitism—then your commitment to combatting the bigotry is compromised.

This line had merit decades ago, & still holds some w/r/t Israel making peace with all neighbors except one: Palestinians. It’s hard to believe that if Iran abandoned its revolutionary ideology, disbanded proxies (ie Hamas), & made peace w/ Israel, that Israel would accept a 2SS.

It’s just a matter of time until Donald Trump himself begins blaming Israel outright for the war (something Jonathan Greenblatt said is antisemitic to do). That might very well be the nail in the coffin, and the US-Israel relationship would have to be rebuilt from scratch.

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today. I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby. It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC. May God bless America.

This is the thing: As cringe as some of my fellow Iranians are, they are my fellow Iranians and I know my future belongs with them, from pro-Khamenei supporters to most far-right pro-Pahlavi supporters. Many leftie Iranians simply disown most of their compatriots and somehow paint this as a progressive move. They also ignore the historical experiences that have created those politics. No, there isn't anything progressive about this. It's YOU who are trying to be cool like your (often white) liberal friends not the Iranians you despise lol.

Sorry but I love my people, even though I can't stand many of them in person. I can't really dehumanize fellow Iranians. I have struggled throughout my life coming to terms with how a group of Iranians oppress a majority. And I know this is also caused by cultural flaws
