@BradfemlyWalsh My school when I was 8-10 was a mile away in the next village. The bus was 9p each way, so I walked every day, whatever the weather, as this allowed me to buy 18p-worth of sweets on the way home. Fizz Bombs were worth every step.

Two reasons why pubs are going out of business.
1) If beer mats exist they are old, wet and disgusting.
2) The landlord and partner drink at a table while the young barmaid struggles with 4, now 5, waiting for service at the bar.
