@RealAdeshina The reason behind this amount is that the automatic ticket for Governors, senator and federal rep is to scare off other aspirants who might have interest in those offices from contesting making way for the holders of those positions currently to be the sole candidates for electio

@doggedVi @faloo123 @Onsogbu IG position is not for most senior, once you are DIG or AIG. You are qualified, same thing happens in the military. A major general and Lieutenant general are both eligible for the post of Chief of Army Staff.

There are seven DIGs. But some people who like to MAJOR in the MINOT keep mentioning one DIG because they want to cry victimhood. DIG Frank Mba is not even the most senior DIG to Egbetokun. Person wey him mates still be DCP... Man is not even complaining, Nigeria has been good to him.

@doggedVi @faloo123 @Onsogbu There's nothing like most senior, other DIGs were his senior in service, if appointment or promotion is based on seniority, DIG Mbah will still be CP not retiring as DIG. The only reason his promotions were fast tracked was because of Quota system. Other DIG were his senior.

@Orion_Van_Fross @faloo123 @Onsogbu Yes you are correct let me even tell you that DIG frank mba didn't even enjoy the CP rank in fact he was just three months with a state before they even made him AIG so you see that the CP rank was not even enjoyed just like the rest in that rank and with a state

@doggedVi @faloo123 @Onsogbu I never said it was wrong, the fact still remains he enjoyed the privileges of quota system, if not he should be retiring as CP or AIG. It was grace he got to the post of DIG.

@doggedVi @faloo123 @Onsogbu He's junior to all the other DIGs by service year? How is he the most senior? By the way, there are 7 DIGs in total, why must Mbah that's the junior to other DIGs by service year be named the IG?

Frank MBA enjoyed DOUBLE promotion - he jumped one rank to become DIG. Nobody called it tribalism… We applauded it as “FEDERAL CHARACTER”… Now that the same federal character has been used to double promote DISU, we have suddenly remembered Frank MBA’s tribe… I have a lot of respect for DIG FRANK MBA. I consider him a very brilliant Police Officer. He would be so embarrassed by what Igbos are doing to him by making him look ungrateful to the same country that promoted him to DIG just 3 months after becoming AIG. Other regions are not complaining… there are NORTHERN NIGERIAN SENIOR POLICE OFFICERS but they are not complaining. The current Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) of Nigeria is Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke - an Enugu man. I’ve always said it, there are at least 371 ethnic groups in Nigeria. If you think any of the three major ethnic groups are marginalised then ask yourself how the rest of the over 300 other ethnic groups feel. Igbos, Hausas and Yorubas have NO right to cry about marginalisation. These three tribes have been the ones marginalising the MINORITY 367 other ethic groups. Congratulations to both DISU and MBA - Nigeria worked for you both. You both have achieved what over 90% of other Nigerians will never achieve in their lifetime.

DIG Frank Mba mates are still Acs and Dcps, For the record, Tunji Disu joined the NPF in 1992 as a Cadet ASP, while Mba joined in 1994 as an Inspector. Frank Mba is a product of the biased promotion system we all condemn in the Nigeria Police Force!!!!

@faloo123 @Onsogbu I am one of the few individuals that have been rooting that one day IGP disu will head the police hierarchy even when he was head of RRS in Lagos I saw the potential of a future IGP let me tell you DIG frank mba is more of an administrative person than an operational one

@doggedVi @Onsogbu Then he should be given the IGP because he was lucky to get the DIG? As the luckiest person on earth. He met acting IGP Disu in service. Disu joined in 1992 as a cadet ASP while he joined in 1994 as cadet inspector
