@dollmaker27 I can empathize. The deer ate mine in the back garden. Worse are the chipmunks that have managed to burrow their way under my chipmunk proof fence and take a bite out of each and every one of my strawberries this year.

My purple coneflowers are almost 5’ tall! I’ve had these in my gardens (different houses) for over 20 years, never this tall. 🩷 This started as one plant planted four years ago.

@HemmerleinLee here in PA, our farmers got half a take on first cutting, since we had a cold spring,but the quality is like second cutting, he just bailed up second cutting, it's amazing! hoping he'll get a third go round.. There was supposed to be a big shortage, I think we are ok now

Trying to get hay baled up and the weather doesn't seem to want to cooperate. Never would I have thought that rain would be an issue in mid July.

@dollmaker27 SS is a government-run social insurance program. Workers and employers pay payroll taxes while people are employed. Those taxes fund benefits for retirees, people with disabilities, and survivors of deceased workers. That's not a "move to socialism".

@dollmaker27 They love peanuts. Since nothing grows under my blue spruce tree. I have a mountain of shells. I feed the squirrels, crows, bluejays. I had one hawk that almost got my squirrels.

@Cloud1a7 just be cautious about guests, I wasn't allowed at my neighbors pool without my parent because, one neighbor sued another, when their kid got hurt at that neighbors pool.. that was50yrs ago hate to have to think about that stuff, but it's crazy out there and worse today!

Side stairs gone. Temp gazebo thing going up soon so we can landscape and swim at the same time. 🎉. All the sudden lots of teens showed at my house 🤷 😂.

My heart nearly stopped when I was harvesting zucchini today in a raised bed. Upon further inspection, it’s just the skin. The snake is elsewhere, apparently. The skin is between four and five feet long.

@Nerdsskittles13 awesome, we love them, we 've counted upwards of 46! we sling shoot peanuts for them, so as they come down, we count.. now they come to the porch to get their peanuts lol so fun
