For those who knock our NHS, that me home admitted Wednesday 1030, knee replacement 1430, awake 1655, walking by 2030. Discharged 1630 Thursday. Drugged to the nines but recovering. Superb team and food was good too

My local Chippy is charging £18.50 for a large Haddock, Chips & mushy peas. Are you cutting down your visits to the chippy on Fridays, or switching out the fish for a sausage or pie to save cash?

@MichaelRosenYes Because they stopped giving the the booster vaccine before our kids went to uni, our son had it on NHS. When I asked 2 years ago about our daughter having it I was told unavailable on NHS, privately available only £500

Now that we have the vaccines for bacterial meningitis, ideally, it should be possible for everyone to avoid getting meningitis. I hope the authorities work out very soon how a group of young people were not covered by the vaccines.

Yesterday whilst driving my bus (no passengers) I was shouted, swore at and then spat on by a driver who tried to ram me because I couldn’t & wouldnt mount a high curb, learner driver behind me. Parked cars on his side of the road, outside a school. He was clearly DUI

Past 4 petrol stations this morning, Tesco’s at Seacroft in Leeds 10P a litre cheaper for Diesel (£1.48) than Asda, Esso & BP (£1.58) !! Now why might that be ?!
