Lack of knowledge doesn't often take the sinner's life but having full knowledge and choosing rebellion does and God sees the heart of every man. Ananias knew better and the Spirit was at work with the early church. He chose to lie. Again, if he had asked for mercy, he would have received it. The wife was even asked by Peter, and she chose to lie also. Even Judas would have been saved if He asked for mercy.

@Tspiceskitchen Both are about same. Their judgement was instant in the old dispensation while our judgement would be on he judgement day. The difference is in the timing.

@Tspiceskitchen What the Lord did on the cross through His blood is the reason for endless mercy for all sinners. Because the soul that sinned was bound to die, but the cross is always interceding.
