@Latinvixen Even to this day misogyny in the fandom gets downplayed. A lot of people (mostly men) have the mindset that if they don’t see it happening with their own two eyes, that it isn’t true/isn’t a thing. 😮‍💨

When I see furries longing for the fandom of the past I can't help by nervously chuckle. I grew up in that era, it was horrible. As a woman let me tell you I would never ever want to go back to that era (I joined the fandom in 2000, first con 2002). So when I see posts wanting to go back to that time I am guessing they were not around for it. When you had to make male main characters/fursonas to just "fit in" really makes you think, yeah don't want that to be a norm again.

Finally got my ADD diagnosed. It was worth it being stubborn and asking for a revaluation! Hopefully I will soon get the right help to manage it.

@domiborealis Hvis du har råd så er det alltid verdt å oppsøke privat tbh. Fikk nevropsykologspesialist dekket av NAV og fikk adhd diagnose på dagen etter å ha prøvd å få det diagnosert siden jeg var 14 år lol

Er det verdt det å gå til privat psykolog om man mener DPS tar feil om en diagnose?

DPS mener de har utelukket at jeg har mentale lidelser. På siste samtale når jeg nevnte at jeg fremdeles har plager til min DPS ‘psykolog’, ble jeg spurt om jeg ble slått på hodet som barn..
