Cal State East Bay.....down by 7 in the waning minutes of the game against Cal State Dominguez Hills, scored 14 straight to take a 7-pt lead and hold on for a 76-67 victory to move to 32-0 & reach the @NCAADII West Region Finals. What a team, and what a season! @EastBayPioneers

It was nice to be able to watch Cal State East Bay (no paywall for the NCAA DII Tournament), as these guys really defend & play hard, and are disciplined on offense. The Pioneeers are athletic, tough & well coached....and they are now 31-0! @EastBayPioneers @NCAADII

Cal State Eastbay is having a huge D2 year - undefeated so far at 27-0 & sitting at #2 nationally. Looking back last few years, I'm not at all surprised. Hard work often pays off & East Bay staff was pounding recruiting trail hard last few years notably assistant Russell Payne
