Glad to join the family and friends of Mwalimu Samuel Chebii and Madam Linah Chebii on the graduation of their daughter Sheila J Chebii who graduated on double Major of Economics and Finance from Kabarak University. Sheila scored A’s for all her math subjects. She has an aptitude for math and loves it. And currently a sales intern at @JubileeInsKE while studying for CPA before starting off her CFA. I see an investment banker in her and more - working around the globe. I have so much hope in our young people! I encourage Sheila and our people to go back to the true meaning of Education - from greek word "educare," meaning to train or to mold for which our recent graduates have begun their journey of life long learning on and “Educere” : & "educere," meaning to “lead out” that I believe even counts more. To solve the challenge we face today - lack of income in our pockets and jobs / opportunities to really “lead out” or “bring forth” This will require an attitude and action orientation on everyone in their own small way to to : -Produce -Create -Build a Career in whatever field you find aptitude and interest in -Create a company like @QuestworksKenya -Build out a community programme like @mentorthon Some people will write. Others will start a business. Some may get jobs in government and or private sector. Others will grow coffee or Avocado or Dairy. Whatever you do today, create. Bring forth. Lead out. And embrace a lifelong learning attitude
