NDC'S LEADERSHIP BASED ON COURT ORDER. Clarification.. Seriake Dickson and a few persons started the journey of registering the NDC in 2017 under the leadership of the former INEC chairman prof M. Yakubu. After successfully registering the party, INEC challenged their use of two fingers in the Air ✌️ (Peace) as their logo. INEC claimed that the NDC's party logo resembles that of the APC's (broom) Note, this claim wasn't made by APC as a political party, neither did APC as a party challenged the NDC over the use of two fingers in the Air. It was solely INEC that raised that concern, and challenged the NDC on their own. INEC now mandated the NDC to change that logo, or it will delegitimize them as a political party. "That INEC will not recognise them as a political party unless they change that logo of two fingers in the Air ✌️ to something else". Mind you, when INEC was doing all of these, the NDC was just a mushroom party without any political presence. NDC as a small party wrote to INEC to clarify the issues concerning their logo, that it has nothing in semblance with that of the APC's logo, which is clearly a broom. Rather than seeing reasons with the NDC over their logo issue, INEC went ahead to enforce her early threat by delegitimizing the NDC. INEC refused to recognise NDC as a political party, or her leadership. NDC as a party felt they were being bullied by INEC over nothing. They were particularly confused over INEC's real interest in their logo, and that of the APC. They wondered why INEC was crying foul over their two fingers in the air logo, when the APC as a party has neither complained nor challenged the logo. Left with no option, the NDC headed to the Federal High Court to challenge INEC over the party's logo, their delegitimizing, and the none recognition of the party's leadership. The case dragged on until 2025 when the Federal High Court gave a clear ruling in favour of the NDC, haven been able to prove beyond reasonable doubt that it's logo has no semblance with that of the APC. The court went further to order INEC to recognise NDC as a political party, accept her logo, and recognise her leadership. It was a straight judgement and order. INEC had a window free period to challenged that judgement, if it weren't satisfied with it. But rather than challenge the judgement, INEC now under the new leadership of prof Amupitan recognised NDC as a political party, accepted her logo, and recognized her leadership. It is based on that court judgement and order, you see on INEC's website, the names and positions of NDC leaders boldly written (BY COURT ORDER) Now the sweet part of this judgement/order is that, the only party or interst that can challenge this judgement is INEC. Not APC, not even the Attorney General of the Federation. The only legal interest in that case of NDC vs INEC is INEC. And the goodnews is, the legally approved window free period for INEC to appeal that judgement has elapsed. So INEC can not appeal that judgement again, or vacate that order. Moreover INEC has enforced the judgement of the Federal High Court. So there is no cause for alarm over NDC's leadership being displayed on INEC's website BY COURT ORDER. peace ✌ ✌ ✌ ✌ NDC

This is the picture of the police criminal gang leader who intercepted me at Ajao junction on Wednesday morning being 22nd of April, 2026 while going to work at exactly 05:55am. I saw a colleague by name Comrade chinedu . As i cleared to pick him up, they double crossed me with korope bus without reg number. They forced my colleague out of my vehicle and forcefully collected my key from me and pushed me to the back seat and three of them jumped inside my vehicle all dressed in police uniform, well armed and one on mask. They drove off and turned under NAHCO bridge and headed towards Mile 2. On getting to Cele express, they cleared before the bridge and forced me to transfer the sum of 200k into a named first Bank acct and this transfer was made at gunpoint at exactly 6 29am.Immediately they confirmed the alert, they all jumped down from my vehicle and fled into their korope and zoomed off towards Mile 2. Can someone give a guide by guide step on how to deregister from a political party digitally.

I wish to address the misguided and sponsored propaganda against the NDC from Dr. Umar Ardo; someone I call a friend and political ally for several years. Dr. Ardo's consistent propaganda against the NDC, especially knowing my involvement as founder and national leader, is shocking and speaks to a lack of respect and loyalty to friendship. The truth about NDC is in the public domain: The application commenced in 2017, when Dr. Ardo wasn't even dreaming of registering a political party. The process stalled because INEC, under Dr. Mahmood Yakubu, halted the registration of political parties. However, last year when INEC lifted the embargo on registration of political parties, we revived our application and were subsequently listed alongside the 171 political associations. We waited to be invited by INEC to participate in the next stages of the registration process, only to receive a letter from INEC stating that our application was declined because our proposed logo, which is the two-finger sign, was similar to that of the APC broom. This was shocking to us and we wrote back to INEC to restate that the logos were in no way similar. INEC persisted and even refused us the opportunity to change the logo, upon our offer to do so. We wrote to INEC notifying them of our intention to sue and we went to court over this unlawful exclusion and upon this, the court enforced our rights to freedom of association, deemed us registered and directed INEC to register us, which they have implemented. INEC announced the NDC as one of the political parties in the country and issued a certificate of registration which we thank Prof. Amupitan, SAN, and the INEC, just as we thank the Judiciary. INEC did not and has not appealed this judgement, and by the way, the period of appeal has elapsed and no one, except INEC, has the locus standi to appeal the judgement. The judgment has been enforced by INEC and there's nothing to appeal anymore. Moreover, if INEC who is the defendant has not appealed the judgement which has been accepted, implemented and obeyed, then no one can appeal against such. Upon receiving the certificate, we gave the mandatory 21 days notice to INEC and they came about two weeks ago to observe our first NEC, which confirmed our officers and also took dates for our congresses and primaries, to be announced by the party soonest. Dr. Ardo is aware of all of this because being a friend, we spoke, where he explained his frustrations stemming from INEC's refusal to register the ADA. I explained how I faced a similar delay but approached the court and advised him to do same, which he followed. I am aware of the challenges he has in court as a result of disputes between him and his fellow promoters of the ADA and the NDC has nothing to do with this and, therefore, can not bear any responsibilities for his disappointment and frustration. A few weeks ago, INEC also registered the NDP, which was excluded but went to court and got judgement. And again, INEC chairman and his team did not appeal against it but obeyed the order, registered the party and issued a certificate of registration. The NDC is therefore not the only party that was registered as a result of a court order. It is curious that Dr. Adoh is his vituperations, said nothing about the NDP or other registered political parties. We are happy with the NDC's registration and its formal presentation. Nigerians from all over the country and in the diaspora are registering massively and the party is gaining momentum with our officers working hard and promoting it. I am doing same, receiving top politicians from across the country and from all political parties. Considering our friendship, if ADA had been registered and NDC were not, I would have felt safe in calling Dr. Ardo's party my own party and worked to build it in my areas of strength with my friends and allies which is what I expected Dr. Ardo to do, as I have always considered him a political ally

Peter Obi leaves ADC. But that’s not what I want to say. Look at this part of his speech. You can feel that righteous lamentation and fatigue. He is thrown into an abyss of perplexity that people would not want a nation that works for all. This is Peter Obi. Around three Sundays ago like this, some were saying Peter Obi is evil because he aligned himself with some politicians. I remember clearly telling them that the structure doesn’t matter because we can trust Peter’s integrity. Today, we have been proven right. Peter Obi leaves ADC because his principles to see a Nigeria where we don’t pay kidnappers doesn’t align with those in that structure. I’ve wanted to say it before. Peter Obi doesn’t want power. He is not desperate to be president. There’s nothing being a president would give him that he doesn’t have or have experienced. He has lead several banks, so seeing huge money won’t be a coveted experience. He has met many world leaders, so that international association won’t be his motivation. He is a billionaire who only has one house in Onitsha. He is content. He doesn’t want to loot your money. He is running because he hates what the country that gave him everything has become. He wants the country that worked for him to work for you. That’s his only motive. It’s why it rather baffles me when people try to shame Obidients by saying, “Peter Obi will never be president.” You think that’s our goal? He is a means to our end of seeing a Nigeria that works. That’s all. To you all, it is politics. To us, it is Nigeria. If Peter goes to another party, we will follow him because we trust him. But I think he hasn’t been hit emotionally like this before. I hope he finds strength. Hold on, Peter. Just fight, we will fight with you. But whatever happens, I’ll like to end with this: Peter Obi won’t feel the effect of a bad government. Peter Obi doesn’t need the loot that comes from politics. The outcome of a bad government will affect you and I the most. I hope we all internalize this and be prepared for the consequences of our actions.
