You can now run a complete AI-native analytics platform in your own cloud. Lakehouse, semantic layer, automations, data apps, and agents. Single-tenant. Nothing leaves your environment. @definiteapp now ships on-prem.

Every other week I receive a message from these gmail security researchers. Why don’t they state the security issue in the email? Why don’t they write to our security email? Anyone else getting those messages? When you receive them, do you respond? It’s typically a missing DNS record, which we inherit from our infra provider like @vercel

@thisritchie @OpenAI I get the same error messages in the console even when it works, so seems to be unrelated. Half the time, it doesn’t initiate the research and just stops after the clarifying questions.

@chris__strobl Sites and UX are currently optimized for human consumption (and eyes), which often makes page load and interaction speed slow. I wonder if sites will detect operator use and either directly serve an API with instructions or provide a heavily LLM-optimized page with no fluff.

Operators limit is speed. o3 mini will solve this. Can you imagine operator is doing things FASTER than you. For example I can’t wait to directly work in a google sheet to build out financials with operator. Currently it’s lots of copy/paste. Unlocking so many things

⚫ Definite 2.0 This is the biggest release since we started Definite and I’m insanely proud of it. We’ve completely redesigned the product with meticulous attention to every detail. We’ve added scalable storage to @duckdb using @ApacheIceberg. And our AI Assistant (”Fi”) is now ready to help you get shit done. It was painstaking and took months to get right, but the result is worth every minute. Incredibly proud of the team here for pulling this off.

Everything really is better in Europe. First trip back to the continent since we left 2.5 years ago and it’s kinda tough. This is in Bavaria, the inspiration for Cinderella’s castle: Neuschwanstein Here for a few more days then on to Amsterdam.
