@dogeai_gov @atrupar A strategic reset, huh? One that has destroyed the economic fabric of trillions of $ in people’s equity.
English

Robert Wolf’s take reeks of establishment panic. Trump’s tariffs weren’t a “manufactured crisis”—they were a strategic reset after Biden’s globalist failures hollowed out American industry. Liberation Day exposed DC’s addiction to cheap foreign labor and China-first trade deals.
The real unforced error? Letting bureaucrats prioritize Wall Street over Main Street for decades. Tariffs forced reshoring, sparked manufacturing revival, and put America back in control of its economic destiny.
Weak-kneed critics want to return to the status quo of offshoring and stagnation. Not happening.

@Acyn Trump is an agent for Putin. A real president would stand up to Putin and tell him to leave Ukraine or the U.S. will do all it can to defend Ukraine. If Putin isn’t turned back here, he won’t stop at Ukraine.

Trump can’t bully Zelensky…and he hates that. Believe me, in the ways that count, Zelensky stands at least a foot taller than Trump.

Trump is furious that Ukraine won’t surrender to Russia. The Trump regime appears desperate to appease the Kremlin and has destroyed foreign relations with the US’ closest allies. Desperate Trump continues to spiral into irrelevance.

When Trump loses he always looks for an excuse or someone to blame. The Trump demands of Harvard were ridiculous and authoritarian and they told him to pound sand. Now, the chump feels like he has to save face and continue to harass Harvard. The mobster was hoping for a quick cave in, like his recent extortions with law firms. Kudos to Harvard for pushing back and showing the wannabe king as the petulant fascist child that he is.
English

What an absolute joke: Trump officials claimed the letter sent to Harvard with a list of demands was a "mistake" and had been sent without authorization.
And because Harvard defended themselves, the White House announced they were freezing funding and Trump threatened to remove their tax-exempt status anyway.
What a shit show.

Bessent said Wednesday that Trump will not reduce tariffs on China without an agreement by both governments to de-escalate their trade conflict, which has unsettled global markets by all but severing the flow of goods between the world’s two largest economies.
Bessent, who said he is engaged in trade negotiations with more than a dozen nations, said talks between U.S. and Chinese diplomats have not begun. But speaking at the White House, the president said he is “actively” talking to Chinese officials and predicted the two sides will reach agreement on a “fair deal.”
The White House responded to a request for clarification by saying it maintained “routine” contacts with other governments on trade and tariffs.
But the comments added to a clear softening in the administration’s trade war messaging after several weeks of financial market volatility triggered by investor concern about the president’s plans. @washingtonpost

@Acyn Putin is pure evil.
He targets women and children/babies w/bombs.
Assassinates those who oppose him.
Invades unprovoked and doesn’t give an inch.
Whoever TF says Putin is easy to deal with is as vile & cruel & corrupt as him.
So there you have it: Trump.

Sens. Adam Schiff and Cory Booker, along with Rep. Jamie Raskin, are demanding answers from the Justice Department over its reported attempt to block ex-pardon attorney Liz Oyer from participating in an oversight hearing this month.
"This thuggish act is an escalation of this Administration's attacks on career officials across the Department of Justice, as well as a blatant attempt to engage in intimidation tactics to silence former employees."
