But your government could change electoral laws that favour rigging, and amend national items that didn’t benefit Nigerians, just to make history and satisfy ego. Yet you couldn’t change or review the electricity/power policies that actually affect people’s lives. For almost four years, you didn’t address the privatization issue until elections started approaching. You promised Nigerians steady electricity, yet you didn’t even understand the kind of privatization system in place. And now you still expect Nigerians to trust you for another four years of continuous excuses. May Nigeria be delivered from this kind for generations to come.

Nobody is saying a wife shouldn’t respect her husband, or that the husband isn’t the head of the home. But leadership is not command-and-control. You don’t speak to your wife like a house help or a child. Respect has to be mutual. The same way a man expects respect, he must also give it. When a man leads with understanding, patience, and dignity, not authority alone, the home becomes stronger, and things begin to work better for both of them.
