Well I hate to break it to you but that's how our government works in Canada. We have a limited liberal democracy. Democracy because you're allowed to vote, Liberal because we have a constitution and supposedly limits the powers of the government, and limited because you do not directly vote for your prime minister. It's always been that way from the beginning.

So the intent MAY be to keep costs down for accessibility reasons. However, it does not mean the burden should be borne by the students. Living wage has gone up from 24 to 28$/hr in the past two years. A TA would be making close to 30$ an hour for the same work. @DalhousieU

Police issue 64 tickets for motor vehicle violations September 1 to 13, Halifax Regional Police officers issued 64 tickets for motor vehicle violations. Traffic and patrol officers focused their efforts on road safety in the area of Quinpool Road, specifically at Armview Avenue, Prince Arthur Street and Bloomingdale Terrace in relation to community concerns. Officers proactively educated motorists with respect to the no right turn 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. posted signs. Officers also issued 64 tickets for failing to obey sign prohibiting right turn and failing to obey traffic sign or signal. Each of these violations carry a fine of $180.00. In a continued effort to address traffic safety issues and educate citizens on the rules of the road, our officers will continue to be at these locations to enforce the no right turn signs. We all have a role to play in keeping our roads safe. We would like to remind motorists to not solely rely on electronic mapping or GPS devices as the maps are not updated regularly and often do not alert motorists to these signs.

@helldivers2 1/2 can you please fix the corpse collision mechanics… 1. you encourage landing hell pods on enemies yet doing so leaves you stuck beneath the body of literally anything. Meaning you either die or are force to wait 2+ mins for the body to despawn.

@hfxtransit stop 7128 could do with some Snow clearing for folks with mobility issues or in wheelchairs.

@hfxtransit your transit model currently seems to prioritize office workers (middle class) while alienating lower income households. Do better. Transit in this city exists just so we can say we have it, it does not exist to function, let alone efficiently.

@hfxtransit I am not the only person commuting on weekend mornings. There are many other people who rely on your services outside of the usual M-F 9-5 grind. I am not expecting a bus every 10 mins, but every hour is not acceptable.
