Cutting access to internet is a huge red flag linking to upcoming/existing violence. Internet is a necessary infrastructure. internet blackout is like cutting water or curfew. It's an act that goes hand in hand with state violence and oppression. #Bangladesh

قصدم تبیین محل بحث بود چون واقعا برام سوال شد که از روی کدوم رفتار مشابه بقیه میتونم به همچین نتیجهای دربارهشون برسم؟
به نظرم اصرار کسانی که به زور میخوان مردم رو در دو دسته حامی و ضد یک چیز بچپونند داره باعث سرکوب کسانی میشه که اصلا موضوعشون چیز دیگری است.
راستش من حتی با این فرض پرسیده بودم که شاید شما خیلی هم دلسوز من هستی یا شاید همون موضعی رو داری که حدس زدی من هم دارم نه اینکه دشمنی داری یا بدخواه هستی.
واقعا هم خیلی ناراحتم که توهین و تهمتها نمیگذاره آدم دو کلمه حرف بزنه. خودم هم دیگه پیگیر نیستم. ببخشید.

#Ethiopia: Drone strike in #Oromia’s #Kombolcha district results in eight deaths, three injuries addisstandard.com/news-drone-str… In a tragic event on 25 December, 2023, an aerial #drone_strike on the Full Gospel Church in #Baro village, Kombolcha district, claimed eight lives, leaving three severely injured. Church members gathered for an activity were unexpectedly caught in the attack. The injured are now in critical condition at Kombolcha City Hospital, with a grim prognosis. Among the deceased were young artists Damena Lika and Dugasa Wakene. The local community, already tense from ongoing clashes between government forces and the Oromo Liberation Army (#OLA), is now shrouded in silence, with movement restricted. Residents, including the bereaved church congregation, were barred from attending the funerals of the victims. This incident underscores the escalating violence in the#Oromia region, where drone strikes have become more frequent since peace talks with the OLA stalled two months ago. Addis Standard had previously reported over a dozen deaths from drone strikes in October, coinciding with #Irreechaa celebrations. The growing conflict has led to numerous civilian deaths and displacements, particularly in Kombolcha and #Hababo_Guduru districts.
