We have also been using our students strengths in chem. We started a list of our students that are excelling and have been drafting them to help peer tutor during ET.

@UTexas35 @ProsperHS @Paige_Trujillo_ Our chem team is having very successful conversations ensuring we are all on the same page as to what the students need to know and how to know if they have learned it. We just started developing/using some great strategies for responding to when students don’t get it.

Giving the team member a reason/task that is meaningful to them will help them become more connected to the team and its ultimate goals. Sometimes they just need to feel valued and see the positive results from their effort.

@UTexas35 @ProsperHS @Paige_Trujillo_ A2: The team member that doesn’t contribute to the work can often be really troublesome. It can lead to resentfulness by the other team members if not addressed, cause others to contribute less too, and leave members feeling overwhelmed and overworked. #PHSTL

We all have that one teacher who made all the difference. I’m proud to work with so many who are that teacher for their students, who give them the education they would want for their own kids, who make them feel like #FAMILY. Happy teacher appreciation day, Rangers!
