I'm some ways I feel like Swifties have a healthier relationship to Taylor than other fandoms have to their faves (notice I said only in some ways lol), in the sense that we have a better understanding than most that she is a business woman who produces a product that we consume. Other fandoms are in denial about this with their faves until it really smacks them in the face, and then they get all betrayed over something that wasn't promised to them in the first place. For me, I'm just thankful that: 1. Taylor puts a lot of thought and care into her product offerings, to make them worthy of my spend. 2. She treats and pays her staff exceptionally well. 3. She is generous to both charity and to strangers she interacts with, especially service people. That's all I expect. I don't expect her to be my best friend or to be my Senator or to be treat her job like it's volunteer work.

Taylor Swift is not like the other pop stars out there. She has been in the industry for 20 years and she knows what she needs to do. She does not need to do promotion. Sure I would love to see a performance from Showgirl soon and a Opalite MV but I know they are coming and I can wait. I also would love for her to go tour again but I know she isn't going on tour anytime soon and she deserves to take a break to get married, travel for pleasure, and yes have children if that is their plan after their wedding. She is not retiring but she deserves to let off steam and live her life.

Another thing I just noticed is in the opening of this segment, it says that she gives them bonuses “AFTER EACH LEG”. That means everybody got at least 4 substantial bonuses from start to finish. Your “unethical billionaire” talking point is no longer relevant.
