@janet_t_55 Have you read my article? It’s more scientific than astrology. (Dis)liking coriander for example is related to your olfactory receptor genes. There are two ways the trait results are derived.

@donnasr I tend to treat traits a bit like astrology or fortune telling…you pick out the information that agrees with you!
To be fair…I really do like coriander…and I’m really, really sensitive to chilli!
Video was fun, but AI missed my goofy front tooth, so I looked a little weird!

I can’t believe we are now in Week 3 of this @Ancestry iPad issue - with no help from the company (they simply ghosted me after suggesting it’s my account!). More and more people are reporting it.
There is one work-around, whilst you cannot properly access your managed kits in Safari or Chrome - it does work in Firefox! This is only an iPad issue (desktop/laptop working correctly)
Come on @Ancestry at least recognise the problem!

A problem has existed for iPads with DNA results on @AncestryUK @Ancestry for 4 days now. On browsers it’s near-on impossible to select another kit, if you keep pressing several times you *might* be able to get the dropdown - but many times it just doesn’t work. Reported in many Facebook groups and to Ancestry directly (with no help - apart from “clear cookies”). I’ve done all the usual, log out, clear cookies, re-start - with no luck. Can this please be fixed. I was travelling with only my iPad and it was a nightmare!

@Sim_Donna @Ancestry Yes which is most unusual - over the past 20 years (or more) I’ve always found them to be extremely helpful. I’m not sure why they a not picking up this issue and blaming users instead.

@Sim_Donna @ancestrydna @Ancestry @AncestryUK I have now DM'd Ancestry - it's so difficult to have them accept there is many people with problem - but lets see what happens.
I will report back if they find a fix!

Can someone PLEASE advise if this is actually going to be fixed - or is using managed DNA kits no longer going to be possible on a iPad browser??
My calculation is that this issue is now a week old and no official comments from Ancestry - but reported across a range of groups in Facebook.

Just getting fobbed off by @msonenote and @MicrosoftUK. One wonders if they even bothered to test it … more comments being added to the Microsoft support thread and the Reddit thread in this issue. Just no answers. OneNote on iPad is unusable like this! Wish the update never happened.

Microsoft OneNote is broken after today’s update for iPad. Cannot reorder notes, folders or sections. Cannot select more than one word at a time in a note!
Following the help forums as others reporting as well.

GEDmatch update: Looks like there is a GEDmatch interface update on the way. There will be live demos at RootsTech (March 5–7, 2026) - and hopefully some of this will be available via RootsTech Online.
The new interface will launch later in the year (presumably some time after RootsTech). Watch this space.
