It is actually crazy how badly @jetbrains seems to have fumbled the bag when it comes to the agentic development era I used to swear by their IDEs and now I feel like I don’t even hear about them as a part of the conversation

@jeffrey_way I’ve been able to do four at a time (that’s my max). I have Warp in Quarters so I can see the work happen. I have skills to help me manage the work. Each agent is working on just one discrete task. They create a PR, then I switch agents to review and eventually merge.

I'm pretty convinced that very very few developers are actually doing these super-sophisticated workflows that involve a dozen agents working concurrently in their own respective worktrees. Twitter/X would have us believe the opposite is true, weirdly.

@arvidkahl I don’t use Google for email, but I needed a Google account to use Google Cloud Console and access the YouTube APIs. Google flagged my account as fraudulent and canceled it immediately. I appealed, and it was restored, but you’re right. I'm trying to build a business here.

It’s wild that in a time where Google account are one of the most popular choice for logging into any 3rd-party service, they can be arbitrarily banned like this. Own your email. Own your domain. Don’t delegate. Sucks that this is a lesson for de-risking digital identity.

@PovilasKorop This is a real problem, I haven’t broken 50% of my max plan yet. I keep trying each week. I created an entirely new application last week, and couldn’t get past 36%. Had Claude code the whole thing start to finish.

Another week when I didn't manage to use all the weekly limit of Claude Code Max $100/mo plan. Only 16%. So, human ideas for projects are still a bottleneck :) Need to do better and release more (complex) ideas.

@postmarkapp are you suffering an outage? I’m getting “503 Service Temporarily Unavailable” after clicking login. Also messages are being delivered. Status page doesn't show an outage.

@PerceptualPeak Really good stuff. Implemented. I had already created a RAG for my sermons, and my marketing for @carenoteapp so this was super easy to implement and it daylighted sessions without commits/deployments so I can pick them up again quickly. Thanks! 🙏🏾

holy shit it fucking WORKS. SMART FORKING. My mind is genuinely blown. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND every Claude Code user implement this into their own workflows. Do you have a feature you want to implement in an existing project without re-explaining things? As we all know, the more relevant context a chat session has, the more effectively it will be able to implement your request. Why not utilize the knowledge gained from your hundreds/thousands of other Claude code sessions? Don't let that valuable context go to waste!! This is where smart forking comes into play. Invoke the /fork-detect tool and tell it what you're wanting to do. It will then run your prompt through an embedding model, cross reference the embedding with a vectorized RAG database containing every single one of your previous chat sessions (which auto updates as you continue to have more sessions). It will then return a list of the top 5 relevant chat sessions you've had relating to what you're wanting to do, assigning each a relevance score - ordering it from highest to lowest. You then pick which session you prefer to fork from, and it gives you the fork command to copy and paste into a new terminal. And boom, there you have it. Seamlessly efficient feature implementation. Happy to whip up an implementation plan & share it in a git repo if anyone is interested!

🎧 Recorded a new morning walk this morning, hard one to share because I'm sure people will want to roast me for it but have been transparent up until now so publishing it anyways.

Tonight, I spent 40 minutes in a future 11-year-old me could only dream about: an autonomous robot writing code using only my voice. I built a way to talk to #ClaudeCode while out on a walk. I was worried I’d always be tethered to a desk using CC. That fear is now gone. Wow! 🙌🏾

6/6: The tech stack: Python + FastAPI, ChromaDB for vector search, Claude API (Sonnet for drafting, Haiku for editing), Quill.js rich text editor, Tailwind + HTMX frontend. All running locally. My finished sermons never leave my local machine. #DevTools
