@AnandsjDoc @Schandillia Thry already shot the entire movie before D1. Split it into two parts. If at all, it was a risk if D1 bombed.

@Schandillia D2 was shit because it was inspired by the success of D1! And D1 was inspired by some real events peppered with some fiction. Whenever filmmakers try to encash on the success of a film by making a sequel, the chances of faltering are high & hence disappointment follows.

Today's question for my Indian friends: If Hinduism is a religion of peace, love, and acts of kindness to enter the afterlife, how does that square with service in the Indian military, where one trains for and is expected to take lives to protect their homeland?

Claude Code just quietly killed the entire startup team model. Yeah — I said it. No hiring. No standups. No 10-person Slack chaos. Just this: A .claude/agents/ folder with 30+ specialized agents. Each one = a single markdown file with ONE job. → Engineer → PM → Marketer → Designer → Legal → Finance → QA All replaced. By one person. With commands like: "Hey rapid-prototyper, build this." "Hey growth-hacker, get me users." "Hey compliance-checker, are we safe?" This isn’t a tool. It’s a one-person startup operating system. And right now — almost no one is using it. That’s the edge. Bookmark this before your competition does. 🔖

A must read fantastic review of the propaganda #Dhurandhar2 from today's @the_hindu. Zero sugarcoating. No hold barred. Quoting the best part from the article - "The language increasingly descends into the gutter, and the motive seems to justify the government’s controversial policy decisions, such as demonetisation. An example of storytelling embedded in a political manifesto, the film’s heart beats for the right side of the political ecosystem. This time it serves like a mouthpiece of the ruling regime even more unabashedly by deliberately confusing Indians with Hindus, blurring the line between Pakistani and Indian Muslims, and painting the Opposition and non-governmental organisations as if they are in cahoots with the neighbour’s terror network. However, towards the end, when the makers tell us that we have our agents functioning in Pakistan’s political setup for more than 40 years, it goes against their own ‘chai-wallah’ narrative of mythical proportions. Faithfully reproducing the ruling establishment’s playbook on security, nationalism, and enemies, the film lionises aggressive counter-terror operations, surgical strikes, and dismantling of terror networks — framing them as moral necessities. More importantly, it tends to commodify national grief from terror attacks into entertainment while reinforcing divisive binaries. While entertaining and rooted in documented events, it risks simplifying complex geopolitics into black-and-white jingoism. The sequence of events works like a documentation of the claims on ‘New India’ made in political speeches where Indian intelligence agencies conduct covert operations in foreign countries and law enforcement agencies indulge in extra-judicial killings. It gives the thrill of what-if to a mass that seeks validation for its voting choices in cinema halls and wants to see the dramatisation of the manufactured rage of social media as big-screen entertainment..... Dhurandhar 2 roars, but in its deafening cocktail of patriotism and propaganda, it forgets the quiet cost of humanity, leaving little space for reflection." In a country of 1.4 billion diverse people, we deserve stories that heal, not ones that weaponize grief and religion for monetary benefits. In the 2004 Black Friday movie Kay Kay Menon told a communal Muslim man "Usne tumko ch*tya banaya, kyunki tum ch*tye ho, aur bante rahoge. Har woh aadmi jiske paas kuch nahi hai karne ko, dharam ke naam par ch*tya banta rahega." And I'm not a Ch*tya! That's all!

Okay. #Dhurandhar2 Thoughts. 1. First half, IMO, was a bit of a drag. Could have been shorter by about 45 minutes. 2. Some of the gore was unnecessary. That itself would have lopped off 30 minutes from the movie 3. The second half was very entertaining. It was "feel good" in the form of comeuppance for the bad guys. 4. Ranveer Singh and Rakesh Bedi are the standout actors 5. Nice little appearances by @bhashasumbli and @yamigautam . 6. All the knots were untangled at the end. 7. I am not a big fan of music director's who use other songs as backdrops. While I know I am going against the general opinion here, as a Raja fans, the thought of someone not putting in their own effort for the music is just unacceptable. 8. There was ONE Kishore Da song, playing in the background and as that scene fades, the song grows in volume and Kishore Da's booming, resonant voice filled the theatre. I leaned over and remarked to my YO how she liked hearing Kishore Da's voice in the theatre? She was in awe. Told her we grew up listening to it that way. 9. The movie was unapologetically nationalist. Called a spade a spade. Left no one in any doubt about the ideology that drives Pakistani hatred towards India. 10. Oh, and did they actually get Nawaz Sharif to play himself? Stunning resemblance! 3.5/5 from my side

@SanDiegoKnight Thats half the story. There is a real effect. H1B has become untouchable for companies. Because of all the bills no company wants to be embroiled in controversies or constant rule changes. The next H1B cycle should prove that theory

The Trump administration used the image of the Taj Mahal in a poster to label Indians '𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒔'. Think about that. An entire country is being insulted, and our Prime Minister remains silent. This is not just offensive. It is humiliating. And it is happening because we have a COMPROMISED and cowardly Prime Minister, too weak to stand up. Shame!!!

16 year old Girl, stopped to ask for directions at a Kebab shop in Kent ! Raped for hours by a large gang of Asylum Liars They Identified the Four Asylum Seeking Rapists by the 4 different types of sticky DNA they found in and on every orifice of Her Body The Girl, (forced to give testimony as they pleaded not guilty), thought the four were going to help her, but instead they "took her up to a bedroom, pushed her on to a mattress and repeatedly raped her" over a sustained period. Judge Norton said the girl had been clear that while she was being raped, others were in the room watching. Rafiullah Hamidy, 24, of High Street, Herne Bay, Shershah Muslimyar, 21, of Hovenden Close, Canterbury, Tamin Rahmani, 38, of Northwood Road, Ramsgate, and the 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, all denied rape but were found guilty by a jury in May 2017 They’re all still here, one had, previous to the case, been back home for a holiday with his GB passport and brought a wife here, with whom He has children! Don’t worry the shop reopened, under “new management” - @peterstopcrime

It’s time for journalists in India to stop simping for Pakistani terrorists and to start fighting for the survival of the majority Hindu population of India. Stop pretending like you can coexist with people who want to replace you and kill you. There’s a reason why nobody wants Pakistan to have nukes… I simply said the quiet part out loud. Nobody wants terrorists to have nukes. @sardesairajdeep Not all Muslims are terrorists, but all terrorists are Muslim. @IndiaToday

Everyone’s talking about the $100k H-1B fee rule… But what’s quietly flying under the radar is the DOL wage level increases for H-1B and PERM that were just cleared by OMB. My bet: the wage adjustments will end up being just as aggressive as the $100k proposal. Ironically, this could become a win for many H-1B critics while supercharging offshore firms. Because here’s what’s already happening: I get 2–3 emails every week from South American and Indian companies bragging about the business they’ve built in recent months specifically targeting U.S based businesses for business. I got a cool looking chart showing how much our company will save by offshoring from the 100k wage rule and the upcoming DOL wage rule. I am tempted to post but I don’t want to dox the company because we have some assholes on X. If these wage rules go through the way people are expecting coupled with the 100k H-1B rule: - Smaller U.S. staffing & niche consulting firms get squeezed - Clients get hit with outrageous rate increases - Hundreds of millions of dollars in work gets offshored - Foreign consulting firms pick up the contracts The tech services outlook is about to get very rocky. And there will be a lot of blood spilt. Policies meant to “protect American jobs” may end up accelerating offshoring instead.

@WaqarHasan1231 Muslims are out of control in India. They murdered a guy because his daughter threw a water balloon at a muzzie woman. For people that claim death is the ultimate glory, the best solution is to make their living a hell. Hence the demolition etc. And its working like a charm

Interesting development. For months, a network of accounts has posted relentless anti-Indian content on this platform. @IAACouncil announced we would be filing FOIA requests to examine whether these campaigns have ties to foreign entities and whether false reports have been filed with U.S. agencies targeting Indian Americans. Within hours: 🔒 Multiple accounts locked their profiles 🗑️ Months of anti-Indian tweets mass-deleted 🧹 Entire posting histories scrubbed 🤝 All simultaneously across accounts that claim no connection to each other We aren't accusing anyone of anything. We're observing publicly visible behavior with a very clear timeline. Why delete everything the moment a transparency request is announced? What exists in government records that you don't want connected to your posts? If it was legitimate free speech, why run from it? We have archived everything. Every tweet. Every timestamp. Every profile change. Deletion does not mean disappearance. We look forward to sharing what we find. Stay tuned. 🇺🇸

After helping India win the T20 World Cup, Shivam Dube needed to travel from Ahmedabad to Mumbai. Normally, cricketers fly back home or take chartered flights. But this time, there were no flights available. So the World Cup winner did something unexpected. He booked a 3rd AC train ticket. Wearing a cap, a mask and a full-sleeve shirt to avoid attention, Dube waited in his car until a few minutes before departure and quietly boarded the early morning train. Inside the coach, he climbed onto his upper berth and spent the journey like any other passenger. During the night, he even stepped down to use the washroom and no one recognised him. This was the same player who had just helped India lift the trophy, scoring 235 runs in the tournament and smashing a quick 26 off 8 balls in the final*. From a World Cup final to an upper berth in a train. Sometimes the most grounded players are the ones who quietly do their job and move on. #ShivamDube #icct20worldcup2026 #cricket

Tolerance of intolerance is cowardice. Hindus hide their cowardice saying tolerance is built into their religion and in the same breath saying that Hinduism is a way of life. This way of life lacks armed resistance against invaders, 1000 years under Muslim slavery and 200 years under British rule. Even now Indian Muslims 'Love Jihad' goes on and on, and Hindus get beheaded by Muslims for minor criticism of Islam. The Hindu majority still lives in fear of the Muslim minority, except on social media. Nupur Sharma was whisked away into protection, and she was from the ruling BJP and still kept away from social media. When will Hindus grow some SELF RESPECT?

This is extremely embarrassing for India. They invited the Iranian ship IRIS Dena for joint exercises and port visits, but the US sunk it off the coast of India and Sri Lanka. The US slapped India in the face, telling the world their invitation cannot guarantee safe passage.
