💰 This guy in the Diamond District casually melts down a fake Rolex along with a bunch of gold scraps and turns it all into a solid gold bar… Then he takes that bar, sells it for $447,000 cash, and immediately uses the money to buy a fresh batch of real Rolex watches for the shop. The hustle never stops in the Diamond District. 💎

NASA has 33 rock samples sitting on Mars right now. One of them might hold traces of ancient alien life. The plan to bring them back to Earth reads almost exactly like the plot of this movie, and the $11 billion mission to go get them just lost its funding. Perseverance, NASA's Mars rover, has been drilling into Martian rock since February 2021. Each sample gets sealed inside a titanium tube about the size of a thick marker and dropped on the ground. One of those tubes holds a piece of a rock called Cheyava Falls. NASA held a press conference in September 2025 and said it was "the closest we've come to discovering ancient life on Mars." The rock had tiny leopard-spotted mineral patterns in it, the kind that on Earth are almost always left behind by bacteria that eat iron and sulfur to survive. A team of over a thousand scientists spent a year picking apart the data before publishing in Nature, one of the biggest science journals in the world. The whole point of collecting these samples was to bring them home. NASA and the European Space Agency spent years designing a three-step relay to make it happen. Step one: land a robot next to the tubes and load them into a small rocket. Step two: launch that rocket off the surface of Mars. No one has ever launched a rocket from another planet before. Step three: a separate spacecraft catches the tubes in orbit around Mars and flies them back to Earth. The earliest arrival would have been sometime in the mid-2030s. Once those samples landed on Earth, you could not just crack them open. NASA's own rules say Mars material must be "treated as hazardous until proven otherwise." The lab that handles them would need the highest biosafety rating on the planet, called BSL-4 (the same level used for studying Ebola). Scientists in BSL-4 labs wear full-body pressurized suits with their own air supply and go through chemical decontamination showers on the way out. About 51 of these labs exist worldwide. And none of them are actually clean enough to handle rocks from Mars without contaminating them. You would have to build an entirely new facility from scratch, purpose-built for material from another world. Nobody has ever done that. The program's price tag hit $11 billion by 2024, roughly what it cost to build the James Webb Space Telescope, the most expensive science instrument ever made. NASA tried to trim it to $7 billion. In January 2026, the funding was cut entirely. So those 33 tubes are stranded. They were drilled from the bed of a lake that dried up over 3 billion years ago, inside a crater where rivers once flowed. One of them may hold chemical fingerprints of ancient microscopic life. No spacecraft is coming to get them. China is building its own Mars sample mission called Tianwen-3, set to launch in 2028 and scoop up dirt from a single landing site by 2031. If China pulls it off, the first Mars material ever studied on Earth won't be these carefully selected rock samples from a site that a thousand scientists chose because it had the best chance of preserving ancient biology. It will be whatever China grabs from wherever they land. Perseverance did its job. 33 tubes, drilled and sealed. The $11 billion ride home lost its funding. The samples are just sitting there.

😂🌲Dana White says Jiri Prochazka heads into the woods after a call before deciding if he’s taking the fight. "When you call him to take the fight, he goes into the woods, talks to whoever is there spiritually, and comes back a few days later to say yes or no." (via @adinross )

I always hated how The Clone Wars and Rebels treated Mandalorians as fodder. They're the ultimate warriors of the galaxy that fought both Jedi and Sith for a millennia. Why are they getting reduced to Stormtrooper level and dying to single blaster bolts or lightsaber cuts?

Druski was NOT having it with an OG who’s been trying to become a rapper since 1997 and instantly KICKED him out of Coulda Been Nashville auditions after hearing his song “My Dope” 💀🤣 Then, Druski lowkey started feeling the song and signed him to his label after realizing how catchy it was 🎵😭🔥
