For anyone putting loyalty to a person above loyalty to the Constitution, Justice Gorsuch’s remarks should be required reading. His words are a reminder that our highest duty is to the rule of law and the founding principles that define America.

The Super Bowl halftime show didn’t feel like a protest. It felt like a homecoming. Bad Bunny could have gone another route. He could have used the stage to confront. He could have named names. He could have turned the moment into a culture-war headline. Instead, Benito chose something far more powerful: a celebration of Latino identity as it actually lives and breathes in the United States, and in AMERICA.

If the last week has demonstrated anything, it’s that we have major problems of our own in this country. The last thing in the world we need to do is bomb Tehran out of a concern for Israel’s problems.

If the Second Amendment does not apply to this exact kind of moment, what do people think it is for? A citizen can lawfully carry, see masked federal agents beating someone in public, move toward the scene to help, and then get erased with a hail of bullets because “he had a gun.” That excuse is an insult in a country where possession is legal by design, where the whole point is that the public never becomes a disarmed audience watching state power operate with impunity. I’m not interested in arguing frame-by-frame footage. I’m interested in the principle that a free people cannot accept a standard where lawful carry becomes a death sentence the second authority feels threatened. If that is the standard, then the 2nd Amendment has been reduced to a vibe. The founders did not write it so Republicans could do militia cosplay on weekends.

The speed and uniformity of the messaging coming out of the Administration should alarm anyone who claims to think for themselves. The narrative locks in instantly, dissent is framed as deviance, and the range of acceptable conclusions collapses before the evidence even has time to breathe, with a level of certainty and extremity that outpaces almost everything else. Drop the team jersey for a moment and actually look at what is being said, what is being omitted, and who benefits from the urgency. Extreme conditions are where clear thinking matters most, and right now the demand is your own judgment.

We need a separation of economy and state.

President Trump casually mentioned that the U.S. will have its first TRILLION dollar military budget. This doesn't, in any sense, sound like a government looking to cut waste, fraud and abuse. We have been bankrupted (economically and morally) by endless wars that have provided our people with no benefits...only costs. We'll never know what the American standard of living could have been had we not squandered away so many trillions on wars. We can put an end to the squandering, and that was the hope with President Trump. But alas, even with total Republican control, the federal debt continues to rise, with more of our money being pumped into the military-industrial complex. This is all bad news for our nation. There is no such thing as a trade "deficit." Trade is people getting what they want voluntarily.

I think a lot of millennials are hesitant about investing in the stock market because we saw our parents lose a lot of money in 2008. They lost money because they sold their stocks. If they didn't, they would have been rewarded. Stay calm. Market always recovers.

The political spectrum isn't left vs. right. It's liberty vs. authority. On one end: You make your own choices. On the other: Someone else makes them for you. Everything else is just details about which choices they want to control.
