Zach Merrett has been a wonderful player over 12 years. He should always be remembered in high regards on what he has contributed on field to EFC. It is time however to look at trade options for him. Should be a clear win/win for both parties.

Watching the VFL on Saturday and will be fun seeing names like Sharp, Bryan, Setterfield, Cox, Johnson, Perkins, Nguyen, Kondogiannis, McMahon, El-Achkar and Guelfi. Gerreyn and Unwin also healthy. It's much needed selection pressure for the whole squad.

Dont overly analyse team positions but Durham named at half-forward may actually be the case. Tsatas to possibly replace his role in midfield.

From Brads presser: Sullivan Robey travelling with the team so he is either an emergency or playing. Gut feel he is an emergency (my view). Ridley back in. Sharp and Fiorini both in rehab and looks unlikely. Wont surprise if Nguyen comes in for Guelfi in forward role

@donsshaun Sorry i dont see it that way at all but each to their own. Dogs were down two yes but halfway through the 3rd. We had already changed momentum of the game and outscored them by 4 goals. Our pressure was high and it caused them concerns.

Ridley has done a mountain of work. More running than I've seen before since attending training. Maty Inness is building in some serious grounding and resilience so when matches come around the work he has done will far exceed match outputs. This underpins Mat's philosophy on injury prevention.
