@grumpyjsymum They didn’t recognise Jersey - they needed a longer licence number. I tried with an international licence and they said no. She has contacted her insurance and despite originally saying yes they then said no when she sent a photo of the licence. I’ve hired a car now.

@doodlemoodle In what way does computer say no? Is it because no option to tick Jsy licence? If so try contacting them direct, quite often Jsy Licence is described as U.K. on websites but they accept them. Other wise maybe hiring is simpler?

Jersey hive mind I need your help. I have a jersey driving licence. I need to drive for a couple of days in the U.K. next week. We have been trying to get me insured to drive my sister’s car. Over even obtained an international driving licence but it is computer says no. Help?

@law_vmilner Yes I tried to add her car onto my insurance but they couldn’t and didn’t have any thoughts. 🤦‍♀️ I’ve hired a car in the end.

@doodlemoodle Have you had a chat with insurers over here such as Rossborough, Islands Insurance, etc? Would have thought they have some suggestions or can refer you to someone. Good luck!

@grumpyjsymum Apparently you can’t grow apricots in Jersey - this is my triffid - you turn your back and your little apricot will be a giant!

Had anyone had an inconclusive fine needle aspiration of a thyroid nodule? They have asked to repeat it but I can’t find a lot online about it - so not sure what to expect and the consultant just emailed and said they are repeating it.
