@FixingEducation Isn’t it mind boggling? It isn’t fair to anyone - child, other kids, teacher….
English

@TolentinoTeach 100%. any book written about how to teach by someone who hasn't taught in a real classroom post covid should just be ignored.
English

@TolentinoTeach Facts. And anyone who hasn't shouldn't speak on behalf of public education

@EllSimonds @TacoforFive1 So true. My cousin had special needs and he taught us so much about life and unconditional love. He left the world a kinder place.
English

@TacoforFive1 Special needs parents are amazing. Their strength and resilience could really teach us all something

@SharonC30893592 @TacoforFive1 The years fly by, don’t they? I would love to spend a day with my kids again - when they were babies. I miss them - now they are grown.
English

@TacoforFive1 Totally agree..my graduated high school as my daughter graduated 8th grade..
The next morning I woke up and my daughter was graduating high school prepping for her college years..
My mother didn't warn me not to sleep..
I miss those years!!

@FreyjaTarte try documenting behavior (and meds) and tell the Dr u r getting a lawyer. Maybe a few family members/friends sit down with family member and explain that you care a lot and see a change in behavior + have appt set up with 2nd Dr + try to get them to go. Sorry this is happening
English

@NancyH_60 @FreyjaTarte Wow! This is so disturbing! I brought an old iPhone to an Apple store because it was freezing. Worker said he could not believe it was the original battery because they were not made to last as long as it did. Tried to sell me a new phone of course - no ty.

5 Everyday Products That Were Actually Good… Until Corporate Greed Ruined Them
You ever notice how some stuff from back in the day just lasted forever… and then suddenly it didn’t?
Number one: the light bulb.
Number two: nylon stockings.
Number three: insulin.
Number four: printer ink.
And number five: cars.
It’s the same story over and over: make it good once, then make sure it breaks or costs more so you keep paying.
What product do you think they ruined next? Drop it in the comments.
English

@PamPrayer @StandUpForTrmp @Peabody2021 Agreed. If the child was harmed - as the pictures show - the parents could have gone to the police and reported it. The parents could have also documented this and gotten a lawyer well before they reported it so many times. I also would have pulled him out of that school - so sad

My heart breaks hearing this! There are so many stories about young people being bullied at school! You can’t tell me that the school wasn’t aware of it, they just choose to do nothing about it! His Teacher should have had a meeting in the Principal’s office with all the Students who were involved along with their Parents! They should have all been disciplined and suspended! The problem with just informing their Parents is that many bullies are victims of bullying themselves. Parents whose Children terrorize the Schools and Neighborhoods, though, need to be held responsible! But, When you can’t get any help through your child’s School take them out and homeschool them. My granddaughter was bullied because of her teeth needing braces! I took her out of school and homeschooled her from 7th thru 12th grade. In my Home where She felt safe and loved. I also paid for her braces! I know not Everyone can do that. I’m just grateful that I was retired by that time and was able to. Nobody wants to see their Child or Grandchild being ostracized and treated badly! They’re not emotionally able to handle being bullied day in and day out it! Most of us adults aren’t either! I would say, if you can’t homeschool, look for a different School. Talk with an attorney! Do whatever it takes to protect your kids!

🚨 10-year-old boy takes his own life after getting constantly bullied at school for his glasses and teeth.
Sammy Teusch of Greenfield, Indiana was bullied up until the night he took his own life according to his family.
The parents say they contacted the school 20 times to urge them to do something about the bullying but they were ignored.
Sammy was emotionally bullied but also physically bullied including an incident on a school bus where he was assaulted.
"They were making fun of him for his glasses in the beginning, then on to make fun of his teeth. It went on for a long time," his father said.
"I held him in my arms. I did the thing no father should ever have to do, and anytime I close my eyes, it's all I can see."
What's your response to this......??

@StandUpForTrmp @RespectYourself This is heartbreaking! I work at a school where a new student came in 3rd grade and she was very unusual. The teacher worked hard with the class - celebrating the differences in others. It took a little time but the students loved her and were protective of her.

@Mr_Husky1 He is a true hero. If he had waited for police to investigate her disappearance, she would still be missing. Not to criticize the police, I just don’t think they have the manpower to investigate one case for the length of time Frank did. Great job Frank! 🙏🏻

His 14-year-old daughter, Emmarae, disappeared one night in December 2024. The last anyone heard from her was when she left home without shoes or a coat and got into an unfamiliar car. For nearly a month, Frank scoured the streets, put up posters, spoke to people, and followed every possible lead on Long Island. He slept very little and lived on tenterhooks, listening to rumors and any information that might help. He even offered a reward in the hopes of getting a clue. Finally, a key piece of information surfaced: an anonymous message mentioning a boat. Although the usual course of action would have been to wait for the police, after 26 days Frank decided to take matters into his own hands. He went to the dock, located the boat, and boarded it. There he found his daughter, alive and frightened. He rescued her himself, without any direct intervention from the authorities at that time. Shortly afterward, arrests were made, and suspicions arose that Emmarae had been a victim of exploitation and forced confinement. The investigation is ongoing, but Frank had already achieved the most important thing: getting his daughter back.

@FixingEducation Exactly but people who aren’t teachers don’t get it. We lie in bed at night worrying about a 1st grader possibly getting on the wrong bus.
