Especially for players like Pau Cubarsí and Lamine Yamal? Look at Cubarsí. At 19, he faced Portugal and Cristiano Ronaldo, France's terrifying attack led by Mbappé, Olise and Ballon d'Or holder Dembélé, then Lionel Messi himself, his idol and the greatest ever and didn't concede a single goal against them. Before that, he also came through tests against Belgium's De Bruyne and Lukaku. He looked calm, composed, confident and solid defensively, spraying passes around like it was just another training at La Masia. Now imagine adding a World Cup winners' medal to those performances at just 19. Do you know what that does for a player's mentality? Imagine him walking into those big cold Champions League nights knowing he's already conquered the biggest stage in football.
