Eddie Howe is set to remain Newcastle United head coach beyond the current season. Barring an unexpected turn of events, the 48-year-old — who is keen to remain at St James’ Park and retains support from the club’s ownership and hierarchy — will be in charge going into the 2026-27 campaign. @dglattbach @CraigHope_DM I’m glad we won too but the football was shocking has been all season and I can’t see what will change if Howe stays he won’t change can’t change coz he’s been found out
English

@doublea_ja60346 @CraigHope_DM I watched every kick of the game Jay. I'm happy with the win, Yes. No-one gets extra points for pretty/sexy football. It was an under pressure performance and we came out on top. Criticising the style of win doesn't help one jot right now.

✍️ The doubters said Eddie Howe’s team-sheet was a resignation letter - it turned out to be a statement of intent.

This is exactly what controlled, sanitised Britain looks like in 2026.
Yesterday in Liverpool, armed police reportedly neutralised an illegal invader who was armed with a gun.
One of the countless thousands we’ve imported, housed, fed, and indulged at the expense of our own people.
The legacy media stays predictably silent.
No headlines, no rolling coverage, no hand-wringing segments on the BBC about “community tensions.” Just a terse citizen video from accounts showing the grim reality our elites work overtime to hide.
Why the blackout? Because the truth shatters the narrative.
Mass low-skilled, often hostile migration, disproportionately from cultures that do not assimilate, particularly Islamic ones that treat our laws, women, and values with contempt, has imported not just economic strain but rising violence, grooming gangs, stabbings, and now routine armed confrontations on our streets.
Liverpool, like so many of our cities, bears the scars: native working-class communities eroded, knife crime normalised, and police forced into paramilitary responses because politicians refused to secure the borders.
This isn’t compassion; it’s demographic and cultural suicide.
We prioritise foreign criminals and failed asylum claimants over our veterans, our elderly, our children. An “illegal invader” brandishing a firearm in a British city isn’t an isolated “tragic incident.” It’s the predictable harvest of open borders, chain migration, and a ruling class that despises its own native stock.
They care more about optics and avoiding “racism” smears than protecting the English & native peoples of these isles.
The natives, the descendants of those who built this country, fought its wars, and made it worth living in deserve primacy in their homeland. Not to be lectured about “diversity” while dodging machetes or watching their taxes fund hotels for fighting-age men who arrive with nothing but demands.
Put Englishmen and women first. Anything less is betrayal.
This incident should be front-page news. That it isn’t tells you everything about who really runs the information flow in this country.

@CoachMeron We where absolutely terrible Brighton are by far a better footballing team we got lucky twice with calamity keeper pope, we couldn’t keep the ball either
English

If Sean Dyche did what Eddie Howe has done in this second half, he'd be called a dinosaur.
5-4-1, can't keep the ball, trying to hold onto a win #NUFC
English

@Die_Hard_Toon @CraigHope_DM Luck had nothing to do with it? Your’e actually deluded. When we scored in was totally against the run of play we where getting battered they where the better team today we just got lucky
English

@CraigHope_DM I play football on a regular basis, and it's clear to me that a lot of you in the comments know fuck all about playing football. Apart from the odd hiccup, that was a plan executed in not so tidy fashion, but job done.
English

@dglattbach @CraigHope_DM Are you actually reading the comments and did you see how bad that performance was? We were very lucky today very lucky and you’re happy with that?
English

@CraigHope_DM Well done Craig. I'm battling that exact argument to the faithless Eddie out crew myself. Didnt think we had a fanbase capable of wanting a loss to get rid of our most successful manager. Gutted at the season for sure but even more so in a lot of our supporters.
English

@HarveyArm09 @MegaBadseed @NUFC I don’t even think we did well early on we couldn’t get the ball off them then made a mistake and we scored that was horrible to watch
English

@MegaBadseed @NUFC That game still showed eddie howes shit tatics ? Done well early then played shit 2nd. Got lucky minteh was biased
English

@GeordieKermit9 Shut up mate that performance was terrible I know we won but that was horrible to watch
English

THAT IS WHY DAN BURN IS IN THE TEAM.
Made you all look like right mugs again
Stick to football manager lads
Leave the proper football to King Eddie
#NUFC
English

@NUFC He’s actually dropped the best young left-back in the world to accommodate Dan Burn out of position.
Sackable. Genuinely vile.

English

@GeoffClayton9 @The_Looney_Toon So your saying this season has been acceptable
English

@NaikSingh14 @Regista10_ @SkySports_Keith I disagree I think we’d have more chance of winning a game with a new manager and to go into next season witj a feel for the squad
English

@doublea_ja60346 @Regista10_ @SkySports_Keith I dont rate eddie howe.
Think he's done But i don't see the point sacking him right now

🚨 Eddie Howe says he needs to get results to keep his job.
🙋🏻♂️ The #NUFC boss says PIF had some challenging questions for him at yesterdays Matfen Hall summit:
🗣️ “I presented and we discussed. There were challenging conversations and questions, but that’s all part of those meetings. This year of course there were more difficult questions due to our league position, there’s no getting away from that. But the process behind it was exactly the same as it has been every year.
🗣️ “I have to retain that confidence (that I’ll be here next season). It’s doesn’t serve anybody, not to have that long term vision. But we need to win games.
🗣️ “I feel there’s unity within the football club. But in my position, I’m under no illusion, I have to get results — to keep that feeling and that trust. It’s a responsibility that comes with the job.
🗣️ “I don’t need reinvigorated — my motivations levels are very high. The difficult runs force you to reevaluate everything and improve. I’m learning a lot right now. Sometimes in the disappointing times is when you can improve the most.”

English

@leighralphuae Yeah and Man U had to change manager to do that because Amorim was doing exactly the same thing as Eddie. Refusing to change system as soon as carrick changed it they flew up the league. Not a good example mate
English

NUFC’s domestic season mimicking Man Utd’s domestic campaign last season. Too many games. Squad not capable of coping. Throw in the loss of Isak to that. Huge loss. NUFC had a very good UCL campaign and league cup run. Time for calm. Look at Man Utd now. Next season will tell all. But wanting a team to lose to see a manager sacked is not the NUFC fanbase I once knew I can’t get onboard with that. I hope Howe’s NUFC get a result today. #NUFC
English

@Doddsy228904442 @leighralphuae @ConnorRC10 Why do you still want him here have you not gir eyes? Are you watching the anti football we’ve played all season why is that going to change next season
English

@leighralphuae @ConnorRC10 Am the biggest howe fan leigh and yes he has backing while he is here next 4 are huge for him
English

🚨Howe's presser this morning was very interesting...
When asked if he will be manager next season....he ended with..."we have to win our games"
Howe kept on talking about results several times, which looks like he has been bollocked and told results this season needs to change else he will be sacked. #NUFC

English

@dan_jr1987 You don’t think so? 🤣 who put you in charge 🤷♂️🤣

@bazzabarrett @CycBal @PKMNO9 Off the top off my head maresca or Alonso would be better than Howe he’s turned into Southgate 2.0 but with a worse defence
English

@doublea_ja60346 @CycBal @PKMNO9 I mean who we name, as in the people who want a change in manager, i agree with you
