I got tested positive for Covid and it’s been 3 days and NO ONE from public health or #dpcdsb called me to get more details about my school contacts. I guess Covid can spread in my school. Got to love the added protection. @Sflecce @fordnation @celliottability @Travisdhanraj

It’s Thursday, and 18 out of my 32 students (I got more over Christmas break) have limited or no internet at home. It’s kind of hard to teach. Where is the equity? Some got paper packages and some get synchronous learning with my assistance! #onted

Did you know that #DPCDSB staff at the board office can work from home but exposed teachers cannot! What hypocrites. They sit in cubicles all day and they think that’s dangerous! My school is missing 3 teachers. They should come down from their high horse and fill the positions!

Tomorrow, Peel and Toronto enter Lockdown level. Many public health regions move into levels with additional public health measures. Why? To protect our seniors. To safeguard our schools. To support the most vulnerable. That’s what matters most.

This week I am going to teach my grade 7/8 students how to research and create a comparison chart on @Sflecce true vs false statements. Final task will include students making graphical summary visualization of what they’ve learned. Cause why not? #onted #OntEdReality

Educators, let me clarify for you. You are only in the Red Zone on Mondays-Fridays, after 4 PM and all day on Saturdays and Sundays. The rest of the week you're in the green zone. Honestly, why is that so hard to understand?

If schools are so safe, why are teachers in Peel now being told they should be wearing face shields in addition to their masks?

One cannot see much through it especially trying to use a computer while teaching in a hybrid class. @Sflecce and his equipment is a joke! Masks don’t protect teachers/students as the virus is so small it penetrates through it #OntEdReality

Great start to my day. The 6 year old chromebook given to me lags once connected to the projector. Hybrid students can’t hear me properly due to the delay! Plugging in the portable camera makes my #dpcdsb system crash each time! What a joke #onted

I am starting my fourth new assignment this year. I also had to move at lunch from one school to another! I have 27 students with 2 online @Sflecce. I and kids are NOT safe! #COVID19 #onted

Does #DPCDSB leadership care about its staff? So many teachers are thrown under the bus. We are just pawns. It’s no wonder so many of us are going on leave!
