I’m having a really hard day. You see, my autistic daughter has had major sinus and throat issues since 2002. Claire was diagnosed with autism when she was 4. She went through ABA therapy and that’s all they offered. We saw a doctor(not covered by insurance) and I sat in a hyperbaric chamber with her once a week for three months(I have PTSD from claustrophobia). I gave her mb-12 shots for two years. I changed her diet, and nothing changed. She progressed slowly but she will never be independent. Fast forward to 2022 when she got Covid and ever since then she has sinus issues, strep throat multiple times, and her behavior is out of control! She’s 23 and we can’t seem to help her. I wish there was more I could do but for now, there isn’t. Oh, BTW my husband hyperextended his knee golfing with clients today and now I have to cancel my hair appointment tomorrow! I never get one because of all of the above.
