My 3rd and final House of Delegates with the @APTAtweets is done. 9 months of work to create and pass 4 months was very worthwhile and a great learning opportunity. The cherry on top was meeting these awesome people 😀

Okay PT twitter: I’ve suffered TMJ for many, many years. Now I have had lock jaw 2x this week in the middle of the day (1x for an hour, 2x for a few minutes). I haven’t had locked jaw in MANY years. I never wake up with pain in the morning. Any advice/tips? #PTtwitter #TMJ

I do have to complain about #APTAHOD and the second day in a row of lack of working power outlets!! My computer is already dead and I’m trying to follow along on my phone 🙄

An excellent long weekend spent serving our profession along side some of the best people I know. I continue to enjoy my role as a member of the American Physical therapy Association Science and Practice Affairs Committee. I can’t believe I’m already two years into my appointment! This first year as Chief Delegate for the Academy of Cardiovascular Pulmonary Physical therapy has been an awesome experience! So excited that the two motion concepts the Academy co-authored on artificial intelligence received nearly unanimous support! Thank you to my colleagues from South Carolino, Ohio and the student council for leading the charge.  I’m so thankful for my fellow chiefs and Midwest caucus members for all the knowledge they’ve shared. Thank you to our APTA Board and house officers for another excellent and productive house of delegates. Lastly I am extremely grateful for the support of the Academy leadership and membership during this year’s house cycle. I’m looking forward to implementing some of the exciting things I have planned for advocacy and engagement with the academy membership as my term continues! Now it’s time for a little rest before switching gears to focusing on my higher education leadership Fellowship! #APTAHOD
