‘Hamba Kakuhle’ farewell &thank you to staff &students for time well spent. Leaving I have discovered it is not what you have done but what you never got to do that troubles. I call retirement ‘falling into time’ - I think it is like falling in love, wonderful and terrifying.

Healthcare workers/ nurses did not run out of goodwill. It is a case of them needing it for themselves in order to survive. Period.

Mostly it is imagining America as a continent waiting to be discovered. There is misogyny and colonialism throughout
