Today I successfully defended my PhD dissertation! It feels great to finally reach this milestone! I’m incredibly grateful to my advisors @CVResearchGroup @uthsc and @UTHealthHoustonfor the continuous support!

Class prep is like a gas. It will fill whatever container provided. I find the quality is about the same whether I set aside 7hrs or 2hrs. Protect research time by limiting prep to the couple of hours leading up to class. Panic and anxiety are tremendous fodder for creativity.

We need to build a customized Faraday cage for our microscope (on a floating optical table). Any suggestions/advice? 🙏🙏🙏
PS, @Thorlabs just discontinued their Faraday cage, but do supply raw materials (thorlabs.com/newgrouppage9.…).
