FancyMenu (fabric mod) to customize the menus and remove the splashes. VanillaTweaks (resource pack) to return the old UI selection outline. Programmer's Art Fix (resource pack) to make every new texture look like an old one. VulkanMod (fabric mod) to optimize the game and make it use Vulkan API instead of OpenGL (works well on MacOS (I've got 3x times the FPS), has a performance drawback on Windows. I'd recommend using Sodium instead for it). No New Music (resource pack) to remove the troon tunes. Rebalanced Music (resource pack) to return the old music behavior (doesn't remove anything). No Chat Reports (any mod loader) if you play multiplayer.

@Michaeldudufudu It's annoying that you have to heavily tweak modern Minecraft in order for it to be playable. I removed splashes on title screen, removed troon tunes, returned the old UI selection outline, downloaded Programmer's Art fix, optimization mods, chat-report mods, UI tweaks mods.
