@RealDianeYap I dunno, being a woman seems really hard. I'm glad I was born a man. It's much easier
English

@jwsherrod "I don't have a deep connection to the Harry Potter franchise"
"I don't care that they..."
Yes. You don't care because you don't have a deep connection.
English

Granted I don't have a deep connection to the Harry Potter franchise. I haven't read the books, but I've seen all of the movies at least twice.
But... I don't care that they hired a black actor to play Snape.
To me, if they thought he was the best actor for the part that auditioned, then it's unobjectionable.
If they hired him because they wanted a certain amount of racial diversity in the cast, that's bad.
But just in the abstract, I have no problem with it. Is there some canonical reason why he needs to be white?
Fandom Pulse@fandompulse
First look at race-swapped black Snape in HBO's new Harry Potter series. Is this what Harry Potter fans want?
English

If a woman hits me, I will not retaliate because my strength against hers is disproportionate and she will get severely injured, which might put me in trouble.
But if she hits another guy and he decides to retaliate, I will never interfere or try to save her.
However, if another guy in the same room decides to stop a guy who retaliates against a girl who hit him first, I will prevent him from doing so.
I don't care if I injure the guy or get injured in the process, but no man will be a knight in shining armour for a girl who can't keep her hands to herself while I'm in the room.
STREET FIGHT HARD 🥊🔞@streetfighthard
he licked his hand then slapped her 😂
English

@ostrachan @oregonwoman Literally never seen anyone say that Andrew tate is not bad because "boys will be boys".
Either people dislike him. Or they actually support him because they are deranged. No one says he's wrong but it's OK because boys will be boys.
English

@ConMcGovy @churchill_dan X rewards people for trolling and being edgy. People just say stupid shit because that's what gets a reaction from others. 90
English

@churchill_dan Damn X is a harsh place for a couple bros just doing some fitness.
Hate to see it!
English

@SergioCharlton @KingVelesI You have 4 flags in your bio, none of which are American.
Don't the Spanish eat bull testicles?
English

@KingVelesI I am a conservative westener.
They can do whatever they want in bongo-bongo land, but over here, if we have a particular animal as a pet, they should not be roasting it on our streets.
Our gaff, our rules.
Period.
And no, holding that opinion does not make me a snowflake.
Greenwich, London 🇬🇧 English

So, people were spotted cooking and eating livestock, and now folks are losing their minds because they think said livestock should be just for cuddles?
I swear, the average conservative Westerner has devolved into something between a normal, sane person on one end and the effete leftist vegan they despise on the other.
FYI, humans have been raising guinea pigs for meat ever since they domesticated them, several millennia ago. People keeping them as pets is a comparatively recent development.

Guinea pigs, considered pets in America, are being grilled right on the streets of NYC.
English

@cptnjamescook @KingVelesI The only sane answer in this thread.
English

The animals we eat vs don't eat is arbitrary.
Each country has it's taboos and social conventions.
A clash of cultures is people grappling with the incongruous
The debate is simply whether you should respect or disregard the conventions/taboos of a country to travel or migrate to.
But to get to that debate you have to settle the question of "whose culture is it? Who are the Interlopers?".
But the horse has bolted.
Everyone cheered for multicultural societies because they thought that just meant cosmopolitan cuisine.
English

@Daimen65489625 @p8stie This is a nonsensical statement. That's like saying it takes 2 people to partake in murder. The murderer and the victim.
English

@p8stie What does this post even mean? There's nothing wrong with the woman in picture?
English

@FFSBert @sibaburck Everyone knows meat comes from animals. A lot less people would accept seeing the live animal being killed. I know you can, but a lot of people can't. Because they have mentally seperated meat and animals.
English

@draetpublishing @sibaburck I have butchered pigs, cows, I've snapped the necks of chickens, plucked them, removed innards. Caught and gutted fish.
Most people know meat comes from an animal.
English

Only vegans have a right to be upset about this. Everyone else is just being racist.

English

@draetpublishing @HonestlyimNat @sibaburck If you're correct (and I don't believe you are), then most people are irrational.
English

@SayantikaSays Sad truth is, most people around the world have no idea how nutrition works. Indian diets have too much fats, too much carbs, not enough protein.
English

@Winjerone @HonestlyimNat @sibaburck These people represent the majority.
Most people eat meat.
Most people wouldn't be able to stand the sight of an animal being slaughter.
English

@LeeKurtiss @Daniel86Cycles @newstart_2024 You brought up that you thought he was gay, assuming he would feel insulted by it. He said nothing that indicated he might be attracted to men. You used it in the same way men randomly call women lesbians when voice an unpopular opinion.
English

@draetpublishing @Daniel86Cycles @newstart_2024 I don't see anything wrong with men being attracted to men.
Absolutely do think a man seething with hatred and vitriol because he's in the closet is a HUGE problem.
English

Our species norm is polygyny: 80% of cultures historically let high-status men hoard wives while low-status men get nothing.
Christianity (inherited from Rome) forced monogamy for 2000 years. Now we've mostly ditched it—and we're sliding back toward the old pattern.
Louise Perry: Lifting the monogamous restriction produces worse outcomes—higher crime, domestic violence, economic inequality. Monogamy is better for women and low-status men.
Monogamy isn't "natural"—it's an engineered cultural upgrade that tamed inequality and violence.
Do you think monogamy is worth defending even if it's not the "default" human pattern?
Or are we better off returning to the species norm?
Your take 👇
English

@gotrice2024 To be fair, if you give someone something, it usually involes actually giving it to them.
English

A man just surprised his wife with a new home. It was bigger and nicer than where they were currently staying. He took her for a tour of their new home, as we can see she was very excited about it.
Then she finds out that he was able to only get the loan for the house in his name only. Being married she’s still entitled to half if anything happened, however she wasn’t happy about this and insists that he bought the home for her and that it should only be in her name.
Her request seemed a little nearsighted and selfish, but does it also raise a red flag about her intentions?
English

@luciascarlet It's not men, it's people with physical hobbies. Going to bouldering community, plenty of women have no issue with callouses.
English

why do men want this serious question
LUIS@luisomor
Wearing gloves at the gym is insanely gay Your hands should be looking like this after spamming hundreds of pullups every week
English

@Winjerone @HonestlyimNat @sibaburck Difference between knowing it and understanding it emotionally. There's a cognitive dissonance when it comes to meat and killing animals. You see it all the time with city people and hunters

Man gets confronted by a family for hunting deer
English

@draetpublishing @HonestlyimNat @sibaburck I'm pretty sure most rational adults know how the meat made it to their plate.
English

@Winjerone @HonestlyimNat @sibaburck It's not about invalidating their opinion. It's that their opinion doesn't reflect reality. The fact is, most people who believe eating chickens are fine would be equally horrified at see this lady slaughter her own chickens as they are with this guinea pig video
English

@draetpublishing @HonestlyimNat @sibaburck Just because they are the exception and not the norm, that doesn't invalidate their opinion. They are right. Assimilate or leave.
English

@LeeKurtiss @Daniel86Cycles @newstart_2024 I do. I just don't think it's right to use bigotry to fight bigotry. If there was a woman I disagreed with and resorted to using a slur to attack her, I'd be wrong.Just as you are wrong for using being gay as an insult. I'm sure you have gay followers. How do you think they feel
English

@draetpublishing @Daniel86Cycles @newstart_2024 Why don't YOU have a problem with men openly loathing women as human beings?
English

@LeeKurtiss @Daniel86Cycles @newstart_2024 You are very clearly using it as an insult, considering it had nothing to do with the topic. So yes, it does make you homophobic
English

@Daniel86Cycles @newstart_2024 Acknowledging you are a blatant homosexual doesn't make ME homophobic sweetheart.
The fact you can't acknowledge you loathe women because you lust after men makes YOU homophobic
