@_CM_67_ Quite simply, the only reason the manager needs discussed with relating to the ending in some capacity of a match during a pitch invasion is for abandonment. The only interpretation of a discussion here is that DM was agreeing to abandonment

@ColonySco @ScottishFA In the audio there's only one team who want to stop the game. Under normal rules the pitch would be cleared and the game restarted. Hearts are "happy" to finish the game. According to the rules this gives a 3-0 win to the opposition. At no point do Celtic want the game finished!

@GrahamSpiers The only reason the ref needs to consultant the managers is to agree an abandonment: if you’re asked by the ref when pitch is invaded if you wish to end the game - that is to confirm abandonment.

So we can now say - which we haven’t been able to say openly for days - that Derek McInnes told match officials he wanted Celtic v Hearts ended the moment Celtic went 3-1 up and fans invaded the pitch.

@Reality_Asylum @JamboReido 1) DR was looking to restart 2) that was ruled impossible likely by police so a defacto abandonment 3) DR decision - continue with abandonm’t as Hearts can’t return = no 🏆 , winner up in air or end game early but not for genuine reason = lie for Celtic win (although ahead)

A lot to unwrap. Hearts have heard the audio and heard no final whistle… what does this mean. For me the SFA coming out and saying that there WAS a full time whistle, is very bad for either A- don robertson or B- The SFA It’s either don robertson has been caught in a lie and will not be allowed to referee again (potentially) or the sfa will be hit with lawsuits of millions in compensation for hearts as they’ve tried to hide the fact there wasn’t a full time whistle. The game was done for me there was no chance to win but there was 30 seconds left minimum. I fully expect Celtic and the SFA to get absolutely hammered here… Don’t count out that title yet 🤣🇱🇻

@JMrtarnowo @deejaypb @sked21 3) police called abandonment of the game, ref panicked after police forced abandonment and then stated he called the game. Evidence required obviously but so far no audio has been released and there is no video confirming what DR claims either.

@deejaypb @sked21 Hearts either left the stadium because :- 1. The match was over as stated by the referee and they lost. Or 2. They took the huff at losing , left before the end of the match and forfeited it .

The game called prematurely is sensational bad faith moaning. 3-1 down after 98 mins. The pitch was clear 3 mins later. The match was done and they know it 😂😂😂 @sked21

@admt62 @squire67 If you think that this sort of panel is 100% honest then you would be gullible. Look at the vested interest: they cannot admit too many mistakes or it raises competence questions. Of course they will agree with some terrible ones.

@squire67 Let’s not forget that, with VAR, Hearts were wrongly denied 2 penalties at Fir Park. Also, let’s not forget that, with VAR, Celtic were wrongly awarded a penalty at Fir Park.

Let's not forget btw, that without VAR Hearts could be Champions, and a legitimate goal that would have swung it in Celtic's favour with 3mins remaining would have been wrongly disallowed, put alongside Cadete's and Hartson's onside goals to name a couple.

The odds of Celtic winning all of those VAR decisions is about 1 in 4000. Not impossible but it raises massive questions 😳

@King7Henrik @pozzypozzbourne @SuperJoeSavage If it was truly compressing the sleeve, the ball would not be down to his forehead. It is an artefact of the sleeve being baggy and movement. This penalty was a league winning gift. I’d be delighted if Hearts had this luck but I’m hard pushed to see how this was given

Just because you can see his hand on a 2D picture does not mean it is in contact. regardless it made absolutely no difference to outcome on ball. Awful decision.

@Mick66golfMic @joerichlaw Maybe I’m wrong - rules changed about two years ago by IFAB to update on interference. ‘Authorities’ should be notified if not interfering, but goal probably stands I think.

@Mick66golfMic @joerichlaw The goal stands only if the referee restarts the game. VAR should have picked it up before the restart and then the goal annulled. Of course the invasion stopped due process which is a bit of a problem.

Celtic’s own players and staff led the pitch invasion. That’s now a huge problem for the club, players, coaches, the SFA, referees and assistants. Video shows them well onto the pitch - even as the ball went in. With mandatory time left, they were dancing round the goal with fans

@chrisnbhoy Aye but the handball was a load of rubbish. Either our Motherwell handball last week was a penalty (in which case we would have won the league) or that one wasn’t (in which case we would have won the league). Celtic only won by easier standards as always.

The real rage comes from the fact var actually stops us getting the old honest mistake treatment, we have had for years .
