Austin Reaves did everything possible in his rehab to get back for the Lakers: "There was days I left my house at 7:30 in the morning and didn't get home until 7:30 or later at night."
And of course I mean that these devs/designers/product engineers use AI tools and work fast. BUT they have the "human judgement" and experience that is so so so rare - especially with "AI-pilled" folks!
Why I'm confident making this prediction: M&A already happening for tiny teams that do just this!
Prediction:
The next 12-24 months, "UX-pilled" builders will be in massive demand.
Who can create intuitive interfaces, web+mobile+desktop apps that "feel good," natural, fast, and far better than the competition.
THIS will be the difference vs those building "just" with AI.
Genuine question on a restaurant situation:
You walk up to a counter to order.
You find your own table and seat yourself.
If you order coffee, they hand you a cup and you go fill it up yourself.
If you order food, they hand you a buzzer and when it goes off, you go pick it up yourself.
The iPad has a “20%, 25%, 30%, Other” tip option, with 20% already preselected.
What’s your move?
@KungFuChrissy@Ahmadezvous@crawlings13 You can’t have it both ways, nor should you. Laziness invites struggle. Industriousness creates wealth and wealth provides time.
Foreign player has a bad game vs an EPL side: "He could never survive in England."
Foreign player joins the EPL and thrives: "He’s part of the league’s DNA."
Schrödinger’s Premier League.
The ability to fairly asses players is dying. Yamal had a quiet game last night and many were calling him overrated. In reality R9, Rooney, Messi etc all had quiet games but there is this modern phenomenon that if a player doesn't play well every week he's shit.
@NotFixedYet2024@dramdass@JJWatt A tip SHOULD be for service, but unfortunately with the way the pay works for many service workers, their tips are factored into their hourly wage. Even in the situation described, the people working the register and bussing tables are likely paid poorly with tips making it up.
@BanockBurger@JJWatt What about the cleaners, the dishwashers etc? I guess for you all if it’s not visible and putting it in your hands, it’s not service
@JJWatt The question is posed as if everyone is in the same economic situation. My move is always “Other” and what seems appropriate. I don’t mind the defaults because they err on the right side and I don’t mind being mindful of calculating a tip for people who have invisibly served me
@JJWatt This is why tipping doesn’t work. A mega millionaire gets second doubts about tipping - it’s not just about the obvious serving your part of it - it’s all the work in getting you that food/coffee/whatever that people are chronically underpaid for
I used to enjoy engaging with silly tweets, but now seeing engagement bait from blue checks triggers my contrarian spirit.
There used to be posters on here for the love of the game. Feels unauthentic now.
