The last actual good and meaningful VACnet behavior update was on October 17, 2025, when Valve updated detection patterns so VACnet started catching rage and semi-rage cheating features, forcing cheaters to rely more on closet cheating (green TF). We are now half a year in without a real improvement or impactful update to VACnet. For half a year, the game has been going downhill to the point where it now offers the most degraded experience in any competitive FPS.
