At the peak of Operation Hakudzokwi—a military operation that led to the deaths of at least 214 informal miners in the Chiadzwa diamond fields in November 2008—General Constantine Chiwenga and Air Marshall Perence Shiri spent several days at the Holiday Inn in Mutare, overseeing the violent campaign. Two helicopters transported them daily to the diamond fields where soldiers brutally slaughtered both confirmed and suspected panners. Reports suggest that Shiri and Chiwenga arrived in Mutare to safeguard the military from prosecution. While police officers in Chiadzwa wore name tags, the soldiers had no identification, and no legal actions were taken against any soldier. What happened in Chiadzwa? ⬇️

We have not been fighting Zanupf for decades rather we were rallying behind a personality not an idea. Morgan come and broke the fear in between as he got ill, @PastorEvanLive come and we rallied behind him, awaiting for him to act. 2018 Nelson Chamisa come and we were behind him. We already have some that believe Chiwenga will be the saviour, BIG MISTAKE. We have been putting a person ahead and once that figure is gone the struggle experienced death. We need to fight Zanupf as a unit with institutional belief. We totally disagree that Zanupf has been fought for decades. It does not have the power to stop a force of thousands on the streets. Zimbabweans are not cowards they do have the ability to restore Zimbabwe. If you and I go out, Zanupf will die within seconds, it's not as invisible as you are made to believe. #FightZanuPF #NotoCAB3

We were camped on the plain along the Sengwa, where my grandfather, a hunter of quiet renown, had set up temporary shelter. He was a butcher of antelopes! We kept our livestock close, trusting the vantage and enjoying the good life. But abundance is a beacon: the same herds that fed us drew predators from every shadow. That day luck had left us. A pride of lions had been spotted not far off, and we would not risk turning the animals out to graze. But then, someone's goat had been taken by hyenas. Too bad for the hyenas: the family that owned the dead goat had a crowd of hungry, easily angered men, veterans of many struggles. I always thought they were a touch entitled. So they resolved to drive the scavengers away. The crowd had to pass through our home. Never before had I heard such shouts and chanting. They were pumped up. My father and his brothers seized the moment and decided to lead the troop. What looked like a leap of courage was really a quiet calculation: they needed this large, noisy crowd (which we didn’t have) to chase the lions away. The strategy was simple and brilliant: use the urgency of the goat, a rallying cause the brave and safe cared about, to push the more dangerous threat out of our territory. Carefully, the troop was led to the place where the lions were. The lions, unsettled by the many-voiced advance, slipped away. We were safe, and the crowd soon made short work of the hyenas. Everyone was satisfied. That day taught me how other people’s causes can be turned into leverage: align urgency with numbers, move with intention, and use momentum to resolve problems larger than the one that started it. You need to make circumstances work for you. Don’t let a good crisis slip away.

ZANU PF is persecuting Takunda Mhuka over a trumped-up charge of malicious damage of property worth $10. The REAL reason is his brave stance against CAB 3 which seeks to UNCONSTITUTIONALLY extend Mnangagwa's tenure to 2030 . #FreeTakundaMhuka #NoToCAB3 #HezekiahMustGo

Scenarios as of today regarding CAB3: 1. ZANU PF withdraws it - unlikely 2. Parliament reject it - unlikely 3. Mnangagwa doesn't sign it - unlikely 4. Court blocks it - Likely orders a referendum 5. Military coup - Unlikely before September 6. Civil disobedience - Unlikely without a major catalyst 7. Referendum & Overwhelming NO - Likely but wld be bloody

Listening to this parable one can tell there is tension - this is a heavenly story with earthly meaning. However history shows that @ZANUPF_Official does not listen to parables only action.

“Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are ill-treated as if you yourselves were suffering.” Hebrews 13:3 Emmanuel & Takunda have been there for others when they were going through trials. We we need to be there for them.

Consider two scenarios. First: CAB3 is enacted but Chiwenga succeeds ED. Will he accept the seven-year term established by CAB3? More fundamentally, will there be a genuinely free election in 2028 or 2030 or will we be back to the ZANU PF default mode? Second: CAB3 is enacted and ED extends his own tenure to 2030. If ED then extends Chiwenga’s vice‑presidential term to 2030 as well, will Chiwenga accept such extension? Facing these questions honestly helps explain why so much is in flux. Remember: life sometimes presents dilemmas that even fiction writers struggle to imagine. If you are not getting paid to take a position or to publicly push a narrative, you’ll always have a lot to think about. The morning after is always far more important than the day of merrymaking.

Emmanuel Sitima @EmmanuelSitima7 and Takunda Mhuka now have over a month in jail as political prisoners of conscience, just like Madzibaba Veshanduko (Godfrey Karembera) @BitiTendai and Morgan Ncube - No trial, no conviction - just persecution by prosecution over flimsy unsubstantiated politically allegations. They are being targeted by @edmnangagwa’s @ZANUPF_Official for saying NO TO CAB3. We @cdfzim continue demanding their immediate and unconditional release.

This man is calm and deep. In short hanzi zveCAB3 hazvipo pamweya izvo! Kudos to @djollah_7 for making sure that all voices are given a chance to express themselves. The proposal to extend the President’s term makes neither legal nor political sense. I am extremely excited to hear fellow Zimbabweans speaking out so eloquently on this matter. Even If @edmnangagwa goes ahead to abuse his power of incumbency & extend his term, he must know that Zimbabweans and the world know the truth-its a constitutional coup!
