@drbrodix @PR0GRAMMERHUM0R "You need stdint.h"... In C you can define any type you want in any way you want yourself via typedef (C++ also has "using") and name it "mytypes.h" for convenience for example. It's just that i8 is too confusing. I name temporary variables like that.

@initseven @sysxplore I considered a faulty GPU as well, but I have 0 problems on Windows. Yea, the Steam Machine looks awesome, I also thought about the Framework Desktop, or simply the G series from AMD. I like the idea of a tiny, efficient PC, and I don‘t need 9000 FPS while gaming.

@drbrodix @sysxplore I was wondering if you have a very small error on your GPU. Dude I'm with you on the APU, I'm over the gotti RGB and thinking steam machine with arch and triple monitors. I stream all my games across network with moonlight and keep the tower with my home lab.

If you don’t use Linux as your daily desktop, what’s stopping you?

@initseven @sysxplore I‘m not sure either. When it‘s time to switch to a new GPU (I‘m also considering an APU), I‘ll get an AMD, and then give it one more try.

@initseven @sysxplore RTX 4070. Installed the newest Nvidia open source driver (not Nouveau but the official ones from Nvidia).

@drbrodix @sysxplore What card? I'm also using NVIDIA on a triple monitor setup. Worked well in Fedora and currently stable on Arch.
