Reason #103746 why we need to change Gleason GG1 to “not cancer”. @AmeriHealth denying robotic simple prostatectomy for 57 yo with >100 g prostate and 1 core GG1. Reason for denial: RASP not indicated for #prostatecancer management. Denied on P2P w/ bureaucrat internist. Shame!

BPH Friends: 70 yo M 185cc prostate in urinary retention being recommended by his urologist aquablation. Is this a legit option over HoLEP or robotic simple? Only literature I see is 80-150cc. Just curious--trying to learn something here. @DrDeanElterman @lemonrock_MD
